Cherish every moment you have with your dad. From someone the recently lost his father I can tell you it’s times like this that I wish I could still have my dad out on the course with me. That was an awesome gift and an even better reaction from your dad. Keep up the hard work and keep showing everybody all the love.

That last part hit home pretty good with me. I’m 42 and my dad is 70 and has been fighting ALS the last few years. It’s looking like he’ll be gone within the next 6 months. 3:00 Exact dilemma I had. I bought my old man a set of Apex 19's last year since he was still using Big Berthas from 1996. His only two questions were "How much was it" and "Do you still have the receipt"...... He is still using the Big Berthas. I would have paid another $1200 to get the same reaction your old man had.

I have a big bag of golf tees with his name printed on them I gave him back in the day; I got them back when he died and I still use them on every par 3 I play today, every round. It's like he's still out there on the course with me. 🙏🙏🙏

Colin my friend, you Sir, are a great son.
As a father of three girls now all in their 20's, only one of them actually enjoyed coming to the course with me once in a while and just played the holes she wanted to, which was a wonderful experience for me and her. However, all of them have given me gifts related to golf, but the memories on the course were priceless. I also got my dad into golf later in his life and he enjoyed it up until his departure, but my brothers and I were able to spend that time with him for about a decade. I am very proud of you and your dad, because his reaction is all that ever needs to be said... similar to my own.

Very wholesome video! My grandfather taught me the game when I was young. We still play, and he’s still youngish at 62, can still find a way to beat me. He’s had old clubs and a ratty bag he picked up in Florida for 10 bucks at a yard sale. Last year I gifted him an old driver of mine and this year for Christmas I got him a brand new callaway bag with some Red Sox edition Prov1’s and a brand new Celtics divot fixer (we’re from Maine). He almost cried. Great moments like these are what we live for!

So happy that your huge risk in stepping into filmmaking and RUclips has put you in a place to not only live a fun and exciting life yourself, but also show true gratitude to your parents. If I had the opportunity I would buy the moon and give it to my old man to use as a chipping target in his backyard so your "I hope that it at least scratches the surface" comment really hit me where I live. Man, this hits home. I had the same experience this summer.
I took my dad this summer to get fitted for a FULL bag. I had worked my butt off for the whole summer, working 2 jobs to pay off all of my family's debt and set us up for the future. Along the way, I decided to pay him back for the tons of money and time he's spent helping us with the first home we owned that we sold for a hurt profit. He essentially helped us flip it, live in it and then sell it at the height of the market.
We went there, got fitted and then I paid for the whole thing. He couldn't handle it, cried in the parking lot. I figured a set of clubs wasn't nearly enough for a lifetime of help for myself and my family but I felt it was needed.
If your parents help you out throughout life, find a way to pay it back.
Colin, hits home my guy. I have a few tears again, remembering that day with my dad. We played a ton of golf this year, something we hadn't done in quite some time.

Ended up in your channel for an hour, watched your video kind of explaining your journey back a year ago when you got the good good gig, some of your fun videos and then this one. I think this video showcases why it's so cool that some people make it big on RUclips. Man how do you make golf videos so emotional? I love the sentimentality you draw from life and golf. I miss my dad now.

You weren't nervous Colin,..you were excited. Nothing like giving something big to someoune you love and respect..really great that it's your father! PS..you made a tough guy cry and so nice to see a great relationship with your dad. I don't have that with my son though I have really tried. Always cherish that my friend.

Loved this video from start to end. The commentary about what you'll be doing when you're 40 and your Dad is 60 just hits home. Such an awesome video and such a great gift.
You are truly on a different level!!

Played Christmas eve with my 8 year old son. Moments like this make a fathers life, believe me man. I luckily still get to play golf with my Dad as well. Thanks for an amazing video! I'm in Fort Worth, and love that Good Good is down here. I love watching videos of courses I know well. So cool.

That was seriously beautiful. I'm sure your parents have known forever but it looks like things like this hit your dad with how great and successful of a kid he raised.

What an absolutely beautiful video. I’m 35 with a 4 year old son and 2 year old daughter. I might not get to do the things I used to do as much because my kids are my world and I give them all the attention and live they deserve. You can tell you have a great dad who spent time with you.

such a great video, and totally relate to not knowing what the future will look like. Really hit me hard when you said you'll be 44 when your dad is 70, because for me I'll only be 29-30 when my dad is 70. Really makes you appreciate those moments even more.

Your a great kid and it's so good to see anyone enjoying this great game with great people! Keep up the great work man, your doing big things! 🤘
