- In this video I'm unboxing the newest edition to the Crafty Brick, the 16x20 Walapress Heatpress. It has some really cool features like auto open, slide out drawer, automatic cool down AND interchangeable platens.
This press actually does no come with the platen cover. It is an add-on expense if you want it. You do not need it for the press to function properly by any means. There is an option for a top platen cover and a bottom platen cover. I actually made a mistake and used the one in the box as a bottom but it's actually the top cover.

I'm in the market for a new heat press ASAP, and I'm stuck between the Transpro Plus 16x20 and the WALAPRESS 16x20, and the reason why is because, the WALAPRESS has Hoover ability and a Hat Bill platen but the Transpro Plus doesn't have any of those platens, although they do have a different choice of other platens. 😓
I forgot to mention that one of the best features that the Transpro Plus 16x20 heat press has is that if anything goes wrong with it, you don't have to send the whole machine back, you can just detach the brain of the machine and send that small part back which is a huge plus but, I'm still undecided.
I have to say I was VERY impressed with the Walapress. That platen captions are SO cool and I really like the auto cool down option as well. Good luck making your choice!! I know it’s a lot of money and a choice you want to feel really good about. If you end up choosing the wala one I have a link in the description 🙂

Thanks for sharing. I'm looking for a heat press, one that 1st fits my budget and takes care of all my needs. My concern is their warranty vs Ricoma or others
Thanks for watching! I totally get gathering all the information. the warranty on this one and Ricoma 16x20 are about the same, 90 days. I think taking the price, warranty and the overall features into considerarion is a great starting point to figure out what’s best for you.

Delonda has her gray cover on the top of her press, can it be used on either top or bottom.
I should have put it on top. I made a mistake. There is one for the bottom too but it’s not this one
