Meet Samantha Tan | Team Owner and Professional Racing Driver | 4k

At the HSR Classic 24 Hour at the Daytona International Speedway, we had the chance to sit down with racing team owner and professional racing driver - Samantha Tan. We discussed everything from what got her into racing to being the first team to win in the BMW M4 GT3 at the 12 hour in Mugello.
At the Classic 24 she was running that very BMW M4 GT3 and in a striking livery. Samantha also tells us what's coming up in her exciting career.

You said what I was thinking. She is a "Gentleperson Driver" not a professional. When dad owns and funds your team you are a very well funded amateur.

Is there any way to confirm this? She calls herself a pro, and everything I can find online refers to her as a pro. But I am suspicious of her racing career. Started at 16 years with no prior go karting experience. Just track days from the age of 13. Hardly sounds like a pro.
