Shout out to ‪@mrnicegamer5582‬ for making this video possible
The Volvo B9TL CDGE is currently the oldest bus in Singapore as of 2023. It's also the only bus to have Euro 3 engines in Singapore. With only 200 Volvo B9TL CDGE buses were built for SBS Transit and first debut in 2006. However, with LTA planning to have all E-buses in 2040s, the bus are scheduled to be retired on September 2023. All except one.

SBS7376X will get preserved by ITE and will be repainted into the original SBS colours. At least there’s one CDGE bus preserved. There are 2 other CDGE buses that have been “preserved” by SBS as permanent Training buses with their revenue service Equipment removed.

      So their 3 preserved?

@@weireandoesstuff2580 technically speaking yes. Since SBS7376X has been preserved by ITE, and the other 2 as permanent training buses. However the 2 training CDGE may only just have a longer life of the road before they are inevitably reduced to scrap metal

Some of the CDGE B9TL buses will be exported to other countries for preservation or for new owners in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Ireland or United States.

Technically this is the best news I've ever seen, hope LTA would do something like this

Ever since LTA wanted to scrap those good buses, I hardly see them in my neighbourhood, I did manage to find some but they were very far from the neighbourhood. So when the bus is probably in one of the ITE near my home is where the bus is gonna be. I will probably visit it. As it’s been many years I did not ride on the CDGE, I remember I was like 6 years old. After that, I just ride on my parents car. So this will bring me back memories
