Didn't care for Dracula but loved him as Zorro! My favorite Zorro, too!! I am surprised another network didn't pick it up back then after it was canceled. Cliffhanger, too?
Must have been a pretty good figure skater in his younger years as well. He was described as a 'Champion Figure Skater'. I'd love to have seen that! ;-)
I totally love Duncan Regehr!! He is a great and kind generous man as well as actor, painter, poet, sculptor, writer, illustrator and so much more!!!!! Thank you, for posting this interview with him!!! I love it!!!!!💖😇😘😍💖And Duncan Regehr, is handsome and sexy and smart too!!!!💖😇😘😍💖
I'm currently enjoying him as Lydon in "The Last Days of Pompeii"...yet again. This man was stunningly handsome as that gladiator! Will be re-living "Zorro" in the near future. Thank goodness for video collections presented as DVDs now. ;-)
He definitely deserves so much more recognition as Dracula than he gets. As horror fans, we always talk about who the best Dracula was----Bela Lugosi, Christopher Lee, or some say Frank Langella. That's when I always chime in and say how awesome Duncan Regehr was as the role. He had that terrifying look while still keeping faithful to the classic Dracula image, and not the pretty boy reimagining we see today. He's definitely up at the top on my list.
I'd seen Monster Squad when I was little, but there's a indie theater near me that's been playing HD versions of old 80s movies all summer long and have decided to show movies almost until December. Anyway, I went and saw Monster Squad on the big screen with my girlfriend last weekend (10/26/13). What a fun movie! Loved Duncan as Dracula and thought I recognized him as Lord Blackpool from Wizards and Warriors! "Creature stole my Twinkie." Woot!
It was a truly wonderful experience working with Duncan Regehr on THE BANKER. He made the character of 'Spaulding Osborne' -- aka, 'The Banker' and made him living, breathing lethal weapon with depth. To this day, I still cringe when my father, a day player, who played his chauffeur, 'Demetrius', slammed the car door on Duncan's shin. The wail he let out is still reverbing in the glass and concrete canyons of L.A. Karma Lessons 101: Of course it was one of the three scenes I directed ... of course the entire crew turned to look at me ... of course Duncan still had a whole bunch of stunts yet to shoot at this location ... By the way, Duncan Regehr is a fantastic artist too! D.A. screenwriter / associate producer THE BANKER
I've been trying to find this movie for years in video collections. I thought it was great in my younger years and he was the sexiest madman, banker, killer imaginable! Wanted to smear paint on my face and offer myself up as a sacrifice to that handsome warrior! Well, I was young. :-)
Hi, Sarah ... your comment made my day-! It's interesting how many diverse fans THE BANKER has the world over. Wowza. Here's where you can get the DVD of the film. I hope you enjoy it just as much. www.amazon.com/Banker-Robert-Forster/dp/B000UJCAHM/ref=sr_1_1?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1491167717&sr=1-1&keywords=the+banker By the way -- when 'Spaulding Osbourne' (aka, THE BANKER) by the esteemed Duncan Regehr, utters the line 'Ishh Nacougkh ...' -- well, the Trekkie in me couldn't resist -- it's Klingon for 'Fire Photon Torpedoes.' Be well, Dana Augustine

My problem with all these current vampire shows and movies, is that no one uses the "Transylvania" accent anymore. Imagine Twilight if all the vampires talked with that Sesame Street Count accent! I probably would've gone to see it!
Such a lovely man. Great actor love his movies.
Duncan Regehr had one of the best performances of Dracula and he is also my favorite Zorro ever.
Didn't care for Dracula but loved him as Zorro! My favorite Zorro, too!! I am surprised another network didn't pick it up back then after it was canceled. Cliffhanger, too?
Same, I completely agree. I think he did a better job embodying the character even than Antonio Banderras.
great actor, great painter, one of the most handsome men existing on the earth. Like him very much
Must have been a pretty good figure skater in his younger years as well.
He was described as a 'Champion Figure Skater'. I'd love to have seen that! ;-)
Right? 😍
And a great Zorro!
I LOVE HIM 😭💞 PROTECT HIM AT ALL COST!

Duncan Regehr as Dracula was a wrecking machine, especially when he destroyed the Cops in the town square
I'm currently enjoying him as Lydon in "The Last Days of Pompeii"...yet again.

The best dracula since Lugosi
I've seen most screen Draculas. They never scared me before. Duncan Regehr's Dracula scared me.

Oh thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I'll be placing my order today!
😁
If you read his biography on IMDB, he's possibly one of the most motivated individuals I've ever heard of.

No one ever did Dracula justice than Duncan did.
