This is a straight port of V3 for the PS1. They removed the driving school.. no objection here. But they were not lying about the Turbo part. At the start you select a Turbo mode between 1 and 5. I “only” selected 4 but that is already waaaay faster than the PS1 version. I also added one 8 player match at the end, since this was also a key feature of this N64 game. Two people played on one controller.
To be fair, V3 on the PS1 supported 8 player too, you just needed two multitaps and 8 controllers.
Oh man, I’ve been trying to remember the micro machines games me, my sis, and school friend Thomas’ played a long time ago on my N64! We couldn’t stop laughing at the chaotic racing in this game from either of us falling off the table and exploding, smashing others with the hammer, etc. I remember during the race that took outside, a frog (at least I think) jumped on me and killed me, lol! Ah, I always played as the ice cream truck only because if you drive off the table, the ice cream tune would play sped-up and you’d explode upon collision. Really funny and great times with this game!
6:20 The best use for peas and carrots. 😂
right on time! ;)

woohoo!
Aw Yeah!
🎉
A small feature no one notice. Jethro always looked at other players or other directions 🤣🤣. But looked lost if you chose him 😅
So awesome racing game, tiny cars racing.
Epic racing game… woo-hoo!
