    Is it walking? I walked about 5-10 miles a day and lifted weights 6 days a week when I was homeless without a vehicle. I was in the best shape of my life, and my labs were great, skin radiant.
    Met a nice woman, got a job, a home, a car, a dog, and now I am soft again, I don’t lift weights because I’m tired, and labs are bad, and I am sober! So, modern life isn’t for everyone; not all of the time. It’s a journey for us all I suppose. Now, I find myself trying to recreate aspects of being alone, homeless, and jobless to recapture my vigor, immense confidence, charisma, and strength of character. It’s an odd challenge. Comfort has always been the kiss of death for me.

    I have always hiked and jogged all my life. I’m 67 now and keep my heart rate between 145 and 160 most of an 8 hour hike. I always thought I struggled with fitness until I watched this. I think I need to back off a bit.😳
