@@les-qy9lv Last time I saw Robin was at least 20+ years ago when he played at Grant Street in Lafayette, LA. Got to stand right in front of him and he was great. His guitar tech gave me a bag of Robin Trower picks. Robin talked and signed autographs for anyone after the show out back. So real and genuine. Major influence in my guitar playing.
Got to meet Robin at Tangiers in Akron Ohio. Super friendly nice person. He signed a Bridge of Sighs 180 Fridays pressing. When I handed it to him to sign he said "Oh, somebody bought this". Smiled and said, "Thank you". BTW, what a show. I had front-row. Tangiers was small, so any seat was amazing. Robin played right in front of me. Incredible. From me to you now. Robin, thank you.
Yes! It IS godly and it IS magic. Passion and power; discovered rather than contrived. And beautiful. Then comes a deep-inside rhapsody. Will be appreciated two hundred years from now. Thank you A LOT.
What a great guitarist, what great music. Still not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Shame. I saw him on tour in 1975, I never saw anyone enjoying himself so much on stage, he never stopped smiling while he played.
Remember this 1980 in concert. Trower is definitely one of the best 🎸🎶🎵 ever ‼️ It would have been great to see Trower, Beck and Alvin Lee 🇬🇧 on stage together jamming ‼️👍
I feel fortunate to have seen you and your band back in the 70's in Germany. Good luck with your health and take care of yourself. Your music means so much to me and the rest of your fans. Godspeed!
After I heard the Bridge Of Sighs album with this as the opening track, I became a Trower fan for life! I saw him in 1987, and again in 2017, when I got to meet him. Now, I have tickets to see him this September in Milwaukee. I can't wait!
I loved this album as a kid! It was magic. What a great list of albums I listened to. The 70's have never been matched for great acts that could really sing and play instruments live. Damn, I miss that!
Robin Trower is one of the mosr underrated classic hard rock guitarist's of all time. He deserves a way more credit than he ever recieved and I just posted this video on both Reddit and Quora.
I was introduced to Robin Trower when my dad decided to play Day of the Eagle with his band back in the early 90’s.. I was like, “Did you write that?” I’ve been a fan ever since. And now I play it. 🤙🏼
I sat in a big giant armchair in the middle of a front room of my band house 1972 put a pair of headphones on did a hit a window pane and listen to this whole album
the first album i ever bought robin trower, first concert robin trower. i remember listening to robin on the king biscuit flower hour in the early 70's
In the mid 70s i was in a band that did covers, i played guitar, we did this song, we had one hell of a singer that could literally sound like anyone, what times they were.
❤this is what starts the album and started my love for every song on this album 1st pick on a deserted island but not necessarily I have every song in my head
I feel honored and blessed to have seen this man play live at The House of Blues here in Cleveland. Robin played like he was 25 years old and at the peak of his youth. He still does with his new music!!! The man is a musician's musician. He plays for the love of music and creating it. I don't know if the folklore is true, but it has been said that Jimi Hendrix thought of Robin Trower as the "white Hendrix" and admired his prowess on the Fender Strat. Maybe Robin can elaborate on that claim??????
I've listened to a ton of rock music and this is one of the great ones. Saw RT open for Ten Years After in Dallas, 1974. (King Crimson was middle of the bill.). A glorious sandwich of music that evening.
Bought the new LP from Morris County Records in NJ, 1974...Have been rocking Trower ever since!. An essential part of my life soundtrack. Was at Newton for the 40th tour, excellent!...Such an under-rated musician and band...Long live RT!
One of the greatest songs of all time! By one of the greatest guitarists of all time!
First heard BOS on the radio (Freeman I think on a Saturday afternoon show?) when I was 16 ish - 65 now - and still lovin' it!
DAY THE EAGLETS SHIT
can tell you're not a guitarist mark lmfao
One of the top 10 by Trower and Trower for me one of the top 10 emotional impacting electric guitarist off all time!
You posted exactly what I was going to say. Fuck, you’re really good at this.😂😎😜
1974 at Ft Bragg NC, a guy in another apartment says, “hey man, come over and listen to this”. BLOWN AWAY. Thanks Robin.
When this LP would get cued up , whole barracks heard it

I will never understand why robin trower's isn't that more recognized.he can play better than most of people honored by the rocking roll hall of Fame.
rock and roll...
The r&r hall of fame is a joke, we know the real ones.
Totally agree! Wore out my Bridge of Sighs album ,late 60's or so....👍☮️
It's just like politics. RT didn't join their clubs, their ways and their objectives. He was FREE !!
They had to make room for joan jet. Yuk.
50 years ago Bridge of Sigh was released amazing album. After Robin left Procol Harum, he started his own powerhouse trio. Keep Rocking Robin.
sighs...
Get your surgery then get well and carry on!
Got to meet Robin at Tangiers in Akron Ohio.

From me to you now. Robin, thank you.
God put these 3 men together at the right time to give us this Godly magic. Pure bliss to the ears
Yes! It IS godly and it IS magic.

Thank you A LOT.

Fifty years ago this song came on the radio and changed my life.
🎣'll bite.
How? 😊
What a great guitarist, what great music. Still not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Shame. I saw him on tour in 1975, I never saw anyone enjoying himself so much on stage, he never stopped smiling while he played.
Same with Alvin Lee of TEN YEARS AFTER !!!!
Out of all the concerts I saw in the 70s I saw this cat each and every time he came around 👍👍
Robin is so underrated!
Don’t forget one of the best singers of all time 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤
James rocks!
Tremendous singer and influenced me then and now.
Was in a little band with Robin's kid brother as a teen.❤
Different level talent.
Picked this up from a short.
When it started playing my head went "She's breaking up my heart, she's tearing us apart"
Both great records
Most underrated Rock and Roll band EVER!
What a very pleasant surprise! This first track off Bridge of Sighs is what started my lifelong Trower fanhood. You are a true master, sir. 🤩
He and band were out of the box. They wrote and played their stuff. Didn’t care about success. Music.
Thank you so much!❤
Your music has left an indelible mark on my existence! I appreciate you so much! God Bless you Robin Trower❤
Saw him live for the first time in 1983 and was hooked for life. Trower Power forever.

A great song. Robin Trower's music is awesome. Cheers! ✌️🎸
I blew out not one but two sets of Jensen co-axial speakers blasting this album. Still sounds terrific!
My miss spent youth rockin out to this guy.. 1973ish

That tone! The intensity! The riff bursts with energy, like doing a line of coke! (So I've been told!)
It is so nice to hear his great music again.
Remember this 1980 in concert. Trower is definitely one of the best 🎸🎶🎵 ever ‼️ It would have been great to see Trower, Beck and Alvin Lee 🇬🇧 on stage together jamming ‼️👍
Agreed Robin Trower was so underrated like other guitarists!!! He is one of my favorite guitarists!! Iconic !!!😁🤘🤘🤘🤘👍👍👍✌️✌️✌️✌️
0:11 Got to see them in '74 at the Orpheum Theater in Boston.
To this day - THEEE loudest, clearest sound I've EVER heard in a concert.
I feel fortunate to have seen you and your band back in the 70's in Germany. Good luck with your health and take care of yourself. Your music means so much to me and the rest of your fans. Godspeed!
Jimmy Dewar was THE voice of Robin Trower. Perfect match!!!!!!
After I heard the Bridge Of Sighs album with this as the opening track, I became a Trower fan for life! I saw him in 1987, and again in 2017, when I got to meet him. Now, I have tickets to see him this September in Milwaukee. I can't wait!

Incredible visuals to my all time favorite RT song!!!!!
So happy to see this! One of my all time favorites. God willin' I will be there in Kansas City Mo. on 09/15/24 to witness greatness once again!
Indeed he's a top guitarist .In top.4 without a doubt. If S.R.V. were still with us he would run him off any stage.
Although I agree he is one of the greatest guitarists to play, no one would run SRV off stage... NO ONE.
@mountainskys if it became a competition who do you feel would win? Neither? Clapton would.
This is a great song 🎼😊, jam 🦅
Lord Jesus bless you brother.🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍
Selah !❤
🔥🔥🔥🔥
🔥🔥
The best song to start my day. I’m living in the day of the Eagle not the dove. Best opening riff ever?
Saw him at least a dozen times, the man was an advert for Fender Stratocaster guitars. One of the best guitar tones ever!
