RIP Roger Bobo. This is a fantastic piece and recording.
RIP Roger, will miss you.
Wahoo! Wonderful. Bravo. It's the power of the Tuba world, an international language. 🎶💕👍👏
So good to hear this, Roger! I tour with Fred with Little Feat and he has mentioned this many times. Fantastic playing!
One of the best tuba records ever! The record quality isn't great, but the fantastic playing shines through anyway. (For one thing, it is my favorite example of how vibrato should sound on the tuba.)
Bravo maestro Bobo!!!!!
Thank you maestro for posting this. I first heard this piece in 1984 when my Tuba instructor (Jesse Lotspeich, Jr.) was teaching me how to play. This piece has always been true loved in my heart. Jesse Lotspeich was a wonderful band instructor who took me on one-on-one to teach me the Tuba. I thought football was more important. It would make his year if you were to write him an e-mail. I'm 50 now, last I heard he was a band instructor in Crane, TX. Both him and his father were passionate Tubists. I'm listening to your post and it takes me WAY, WAY, back to nothing but happy days.
wonderful
PERFECT!!
Bravo!!!!!!
FANTASTICO!!!
How are you doing Roger, we came to see you at the International Tuba Euphonium Association Conference and heard you were in the hospital. I hope this upload is indicating that you are better!
Is there a better mix of this? I miss Mr Bobo
