I worked for Tata Motors a long time ago. While it was a brief stint there, and I saw within my short stint that doing the right thing was a way of life there. I had always been a troubled young man who tried to fight for what was right and I saw that espoused in how we behaved at work. That gave me the confidence that I could survive in corporate life doing what is right. It wasn’t easy always but that confidence has helped me over the last 25 years. Ratan Tata is one of the few that I have always admired for his “off the public eye” work. RIP - Ratan Tata was an Anmol Ratan in the history of India. What the Tatas have done for India over centuries is something that cannot be easily replicated. In my own way, I try to give back to society and this is, in no smaller measure, due to the leadership and actions of people like Ratan Tata. What he has earned over the years is the blessings of the common man whose lives have been touched by the Tatas. Helping people in their time of need. The Tatas (with Ratan Tata Ji’s contributions) didn’t just build a business conglomerate. They built an industrial ecosystem, that truly touches lives and leaves them for the better. Jamshedji Tata, JRD, Ratan are all the real men that helped build India, the right way. Thank you!!!

@@venkateshps1839 The mentality has been passed down from generations. And here we are trying to absorb all that has been done by the family. In our own little ways of selflessness, philanthropy, leadership we should envision and make efforts for change. Change for a better tomorrow.
I like to analyse how grand he lived his life, his transaction quite simple, he got trice of what he gave, he shared compassion and got X 3000 and repeat. A powerful code to journey through life.

He and his brother experienced deeply unhappy marriage life of their parents. It became so bad she left them to their grandmother's hand and never came back. He and his brother never married and he himself expressed that he four times experienced love and ready to marry but refused to take the final step. I think his childhood experience with his parents life was one of the main reason.

That's a very sexist comment. It is not necessarily and not always women who spends men's money. Men may be lavish themselves and women may be simple. Your mindset is so regressive and sexist. It is not because Ratan Tata is what he is today because he didn't get married. He could also have had a good wife who would have added to his benevolence and philanthropy. Why he didn't marry is his own reason and the two things ar not connected at all. Don't spread poison like this.
