You ended with an excellant question that leads to my theory of this NFL season. More than every player this year will be a coach's year. All the competitive teams have gotten better and so how to win when the talent level is high? Coach's have to win games. The have to have the game plans and contingency plans and have their players ready to go. You would think that is a given. It is not. We just heard Bridgewater squawk on the game preparation of the Panthers so if you ask why NFL teams lose there is part of your answer lack of adquate preparation. This brings us to TJ and my opinion is as you have displayed this guy can be a monster but how will Kellen Moore design for him? Can he design for him? Does he think of TJ as you and I do? Maybe and then maybe not? Maybe the thought is practice squad. If that is the case I have zero faith in what the Cowboys can do this year. I was watching the game against the Giants where Dak got hurt. Giants were playing Dallas pretty close even despite having a ricketty O-line. So, what can be expected this year? TJ Vasher is a secret weapon. Call the right plays and he'll get the 1st down, he'll get the ball in the red zone, but if the OC doesn't have a strong mind to include him then it won't happen. {I am impressed your vision to put TJ on the short side one on one. That's pretty smart and that OC didn't think of that. Game time fast thinking is uncommon.} This season I am focusing on coaching. Half the NLF is trash when it comes to playing football and winning half have losing records despite the talent they have. Some coaches not really for this league. There are a lot of HC coaches on the staffs of teams in the NFL and maybe they should be back as HC too make teams more competitive. I am especially looking forward to see how the Jaguars do this year. Anyway I like TJ Vasher 1st time I seen him he got WR spirit like Carmicheal from Philly I grew up watching that dude he was pretty good. Take it easy.
