It isn't really a Legion mod per se, but Subjugation does allow you to sell slaves to them with fully voiced NPCs like you could Paradise Falls in Fallout 3.

I heard subjugation and other similar mods crash tons of mod lists though
@@danielsurvivor1372 I haven't experienced crashes, may be because I have like 70 performance and stability mods alongside other stuff.
The only problem with Subjugation is that the mod doesn't allow you to order the NPCs around to be temporary companions of a sort. That serves the benefit of being your own peasants if you're doing the independent run. Or the Psycho run.

I believe in the Assorted Legion Armors Retexture supremacy.
Yeah and it has better textures than PM's mod but it doesn't cover all of them, so I excluded it.
While only being in a demo state right now, I recommend a mod called "nova Arizona". It expands the areas across the Colorado and around the fort, including overhauling traveling to the fort for the first time. For being in a beta state, I've only encountered 3 bugs, and none of them were game breaking.
It's empty though. Once you pass the Hoover Dam bridge and into the other side of the map, it's just a long walk from location to location with nothing in between.
I know the mod author plans to expand it, but for now it's just one giant empty map and a fucked up load order
Retribution is also a solid Legion quest mod. It only came out a couple months ago too
The overhauled armors can be easily explained that the Legion is already big enough to be capable of some basic manufacturing power. They may not have any refineries and factories but they do have a lot of slaves that they can use to manufacture basic military equipmemt and there is no shortage of usable scrap metal around the wasteland. Also scavenging for gear from sports supplies stores and gyms just isn't sustainable and at some point you just have to make your own gear.
If one must think of an in lore explanation for the metallic armor then it can be said that the metal came from the numerous abandoned cars, trash cans, scrap heaps, etc that would be in the easternmost area of the legion territory. That or the legion has a business deal with the Pittsburgh raiders a trade deal for metal armors with slaves
The Legion wouldn't know of the Pitt since it on the east coast, these just too much distance between them to make a worth while trade partner, and Caesar wouldn't want to trust a band of ambitious raiders with the arming of the legion.
I mean it still is a bit weird. The style doesn't really fit as well. If it was for Named NPC's and Officer then fine, but it doesn't fit aesthetically IMO
IDK why metal armor needs some kind of justification. There's lots of metal in Arizona, deffinitly more than sport gear. And if legionaries make this sport gear themselves, than it's even stranger: like, you wanna tell me that metalworking is too hard for post-apocalypse, but creating plastic is fine?

One Legion mod I really like is Arizona Slave Army. It slightly buffs Legionaries without making them op and their new armors actually look really good without being too lore breaking imo.

i think a good mod to overhaul the legion is arizona slave army, since it focus on overhauling visually the legion, but keeping it as lore accurate as possible, adding new detaisl to already existing armors, new variants and so on. also it keeps Legate Lanius armor intact and doesnt put him in power armor
Nice video. I wish John Sawyer made a complete mod for legion like how he did to Mojave wasteland. It's too undercooked but has great potential.

4:30 about the armors of Caesar New Regime, the whole "Its apocalypse" doesnt mean anything...I mean sure IT IS apocalypse, but Its also a world where the biggest and strongest factions are expected to have standards issued uniform made of militaristic fatigues such as the NCR or man sized tanks (power armors) such as the Brotherhood of Steel of the Enclave, Caesar Legion has quite a vast territory and they are supposed to pose a challenge to the NCR in the lore, or are they supposed to be threatning when their troops are just dressed like raiders ? besides their armor quite look like the armor of Centurion Magnus, It wouldn't be so weird If the Legion issued metal armor with golden yellow paintjob to his soldiers as the conflicts grew
