I don’t think he is rude in his interviews…if there is something worth replying to and that is related to the film or what he’s working on/worked on he will answer honestly and thoroughly. When he gets asked questions that are irrelevant and personal he won’t answer and he’s entitled to be like that. We don’t go about asking people on the streets about their political views. He would probably discuss this with his family and friends but not with an interviewer. He’s quite happy to give autographs and take pictures when he’s got the time but this is a guy who likes to keep work and home life separate. To be fair the guy is honest as the day is long…he doesn’t bullshit about the industry and knows that it’s a tough place to be in.

Tom is not mad or angry, he just gives an attitude cause he can. He goes against the grind and hates stupid people/questions that are not relevant. Shia LaBeouf mentioned during an interview that he was intimidated by Tom Hardy cause he’d piss in the corner and it was “his” set. But watch Jessica Chastain shut him down for being a butt. I personally feel like he just wants people to be real and authentic with him.

That sexuality question is so not cool. He handles it perfectly. He knows what he's doing. Frankly as someone who is press and has done many interviews with many stars some of these questions are absolutely asinine and ridiculous. Ask them something about the character or about working with the director or what about the script but some of these questions these journalists should not have asked. It's just absolutely ridiculous. This video actually makes me love him more and have much more respect because he keeps his cool and doesn't go off like he could.
I remember he said once that he had hated doing that movie with Reese Witherspoon, that's why he seemed so bored in those interviews and events.

I may not have lots of money,and may have a boring life to others, but I don't think I'd swap it at all for being an actor instead. Not only do you have to do a film which is a hard enough job to do as you have to have that talent but then just think of how many interviews you have to do, on TV, radio, online, just to promote your film and there's the premier + afterwards too. Then that's just in one place , there's others to go to and different countries around the world to do that too. So I can Imagen they would be asked the same old kind of questions over again, then on top of that the really stupid ones too. Tom is amazing , he's just very assertive and has the guts to say if he doesn't want to answer a question or to say if he thinks the question is out of line. I'd have trouble just keeping up with everything,while being jet lagged , asked the same questions and trying to be polite etc. As for the stupid ones I'd just lose it , I'd either go for them getting angry or storming out of the place.😤😡. The thing is though, everybody will answer whatever question when there new and starting out. Now that hes made a name for himself, he sees himself above this. I see it 2 ways. Thinking hes above these people. I also see how hes annoyed.
Not at all dude. He was perfectly fine to answer if he had the time and people were behaving themselves. He just wasn’t putting up with bullshit, or answering irrelevant, personal questions which he has every right to do. He doesn’t need to answer questions and his sexuality or political views. NO ONE is entitled to even ask those questions in the first place.
