For the Newbie if you are actually trading in the crypto space and you don't have a sound mentor. Then you are certainly going to get liquidated in 90% of your trades. Yeah that's sad truth. Every person is looking for their 20x not closing their eyes and trying to envision how unrealistic it is. There has to be losers on the other side of your exit trades There's nowhere near the exit liquidity available for all the pipe dreams out there The guys shooting for -4-5x will be picking the pockets of the 20x streamers just like every cycle. Rinse. Repeat
It's not zero sum. There are all kinds of degrees of winners and losers. Though you're right, those going for the top will likely lose. Guess the half-way point, then exit, I would say to newbies.

QE hasn't yet started in the USA and interest rates are still fairly high compared to the last time the FED started cutting, so it will probably take at least 150 basis points of rate cuts before you get retail from the US maybe starting to come back in. It's a god project that ranks well when analysed and is favoured, so, the price will go up if there is sufficient money, from buyers, competing to buy it, generally, world liquidity is rising, so you could expect appreciation. I would caution of blind expectation of continual price increase, the worlds economies are not healthy and increased financialisation of assets is unsustainable, when the money is spent, the price reverses. Also consider escalaton of conflists.

If coins showing no signs of life and you’re not seeing a catalyst that could reinvigorate them (particularly dying meme coins) I’ve made up for losses in them buy making gains in others. Our mind tells us we must make money back in them but actually that’s not true!
