these easylanguage videos are so interesting, not only because you can learn new languages but also because you can see real people from different cultures, their bodylanguage and the things they say. I find that fascinating because that's something you can really only experience when you visit the country.
I watched that video about 3 times 2 months ago and had to repeat several passages to understand the words clearly...now I come back and watch it again for the first time in a while, and I understood everything without problem, I could hear the words so clearly that I wondered if it's even the same video that I watched 2 months ago lol. I'm so happy, thank you!
@@MindDrip Thank you! I took private classes for 2 years about 10 years ago. Then during the pandemic I started studying seriously by myself again. I know words but the Japanese talk so fast!
They basically AJATT'ed for 4 years straight with literally nothing in their way (not even another language causing distraction), so guess how good u were if u did
Very useful video, I've learned a few new words. It's good to hear Japanese people talk in 'normal' day to day Japanese with kanji/kana subs. The presentor has a cheerful and fun personality! ありがとうございます!
oh my god. the videos are great.the interviewer is pretty and adorable.thank you for these videos.they make my janpanese learning process much more fun and easier
for me, what they speak in terms of sentences, grammar and vocab is super easy to get as it's very beginner friendly but *how* some of them speak is where I find myself struggling the most if I start listening only without reading in parallel. It's just so fast and wishy-washy sounding at times that my current ear for Japanese is constantly lacking behind and I need to pause and repeat some of the sentences several times in order to truly hear out what they're supposed to mean. It's much faster paced than hearing English or German.
Thank you for making this video. I'm here in New York City trying to learn Japanese by watching real Japanese people speak. It's a tough language to learn but I love it.😚😁🤣😎
Everyone says they are happy when they are with their loved ones, couple family kids, when daughter comes home, when laugh together as family. My heart feels warm, Japanese people are my 😍💕
Thank you for uploading such a wonderful videos,... please keep on sharing.. its very helpful. Thank you very much for your effort :) have a wonderful time
when he went, "nande darou" , he changed her question into a philosophical one, and then suddenly realized none had an answer, he apruptly continued, like he almost lost himself into his question :)
There are several components to studying Japanese quickly . One plan I found that successfully combines these is the Fergs Magic Blueprint (look for it on google) definately the best resource that I've seen. Check out the unbelievable info .
one thing to takeaway from this video as a lesson is the reason for people's happiness... I wish more people could see this... that happiness comes especially from... love... so that people don't bury love and feelings and go their own way... but rather a way with a loved one...and...possibly kids.......
@@tysonball9804 Hi! I'm not OP, but I believe it could do with the simplicity of their responses. None of them really stood there wondering about what happiness meant in its essence, everyone just provided the thing that first occurred to them. That's evident in that people responded based on their current mood and activity rather than trying to generalize the notion of happiness to their life-long journey. Just a guess, though!
@@salbee2 @tysonball9804 2 years later LMAO... Yeah, like @salbee2 said. They answers felt simple yet deep, like keeping the good of their hearts and the world around them. Something super simple like the mom saying she's happy seeing how his children can do things that couldn't do before is just a simple "naive" action from their children but bring so much joy to that mom. I loved it! "Naive" in a sense that no issues in the world can modify something so cute and "simple" like being next to your love one while walking and that giving you so much happiness (I'm the same, BTW).
I'm happiest when I'm learning something (if I could be a lifetime student instead of working in jobs that become boring after a month or two, that'd be great). I'm also happiest when I can afford to spend money freely on my hobbies (buying books for Japanese language, buying supplies for gardening, etc), without worrying if I'll have enough left over for the bottom tier of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs.
for next video can you talk about people's favorite films or people traveling outside of the country and did they like visiting there how was the culture different?
My main source of Japanese media has always been anime since I was 8 years old (22 now) and now I can understand almost everything save for a few words.. might as well try learning Japanese full time at this point xD
you listen all the asian languages like for example: chinese, vietnmase, thai ecc; and you think " meh ". And then you listen Japanese and ...... omg it's heaven for the ears
I have noticed that she usually uses otousan, oniisan etc when talking to people on the street. Is that polite? I know that anata might not be a good choice, best way is to use a name but is it acceptable to use those family member names like calling older woman okaasan etc? I've been hitchhiking in Japan so for example once an old lady stopped and took us so would it be appropriate to call her okaasan? Obaasan would probably be rude right?
Ramiro Sotto Ya the girl speaks fast but you can understand it so it doesn't matter. お兄さん can be used to any older guy, kind of like how some people say おばあさん when talking to a really old women and お姉さん can be said to any older girl.
In fact you shouldn't read all 3 in a row. It's impossible to listen and read in 2 languages even in your native language. Take it more as a "listening" practice than anything else

Very important and very very interesting because is the authentic material of learning, not like textbook learning
Absolutely true! I am a native speaker of German and I watch the German street interviews just because I think they are interesting! :-)

Japanese people are cute when they get shy
So they are cute all the time then basically
For me, they don't need to be shy to be cute. Their physical appearance is cute in itself.

well 4 years old speak well their mother tongues so not so surprising

I only understand 5-10%, I've been studying for morr than a month.
I only understand enough to get the general gist of how the language works
