Usually, the way these movie figures work is Disney/Fox/Marvel sends out concept art to toy companies to start with figures so when the movie releases we see something available at launch to get that new movie excitement cash from buyers who don't like waiting and parents fresh out of the theater with whiny kids

There’s a bunch in Korea everywhere, I saw an entire stack of them in the Marvel store, I picked them up for myself and the first impression was that the colors are really bright, but overall it’s really good and gives you some time to satisfy your needs while waiting for the Marvel Legends, Hot Toys and S.H. Figuarts versions
That was kind of the lesson. Don't buy these if you're going to want the others because they are better
@@NostalgiaUnboxed Yeah but they are kind of worth it, and also thanks for replying to my comment. But anyways I’m saying it’s worth it imo because they come in Asia at a pretty low price, and especially a good steal since they have good quality, and what I did with mine is I painted it with a little bit of dark paint to make it better, especially if your gonna make the battle damaged versions. I kind of wish the Wolverine came with a head sculpt of Hugh and ripped sleeves tho, they would have been awesome then. But their fun to pose with and comes out good in photos

Wow! that just deflates ones excitement, leaving you feeling disappointed 😞. As a collector, there's no worse feeling, than being excited for figures, and not getting what you expect.
The worst
you should get the other zdtoys' iron mans, i haven't heard anything bad about them so it sounds like they're a lot better. as an iron man fan they look perfect to me i just haven't pulled the trigger yet, also you'd be the first proper reviewer to review them imo. the look i want is wolverine with the mask and the shoulder pads with no sleeves which only hot toys seems to be doing because he never actually did it in the movie which is a shame

I thought the nose protruding out of Wolverine mask was an error in production, but apparently it's designed like that. Hot Toys replicated the design perfectly as it's not as conspicuous as ZD Toys (and definitely not as ugly). All in all I think these figures just need a better paint job. 1/10 scale is a pretty good scale to compete against the crowded 1/12 market, too bad ZD Toys doesn't seem to want to take it seriously.

I really want a 2 pack with Deadpool and Logan from the beginning of the movie where one is an accessory for the other. ☠️ I would pay unreasonable amounts for that

Love my set. They need a few washes of black,red and browns for battle damage effects to really make them pop. They really look the part except for the sleeves.

The only thing I don't like about ZD Toys, is the scale, since I mostly collect 1/12 scale figures.

I preordered the Marvel Legends versions of these guys. If anything it’s because ML is just the line I end up collecting the most. For SH Figuarts I tend to stick with Dragon Ball Z characters from them.

Im not a movie figure guy myself with few exceptions (tmnt, batman,beetlejuice) but im super excited for the mezco version .. its just the wait lol mezco also teased a wolverine .. and mez loves wolvie so im sure thats coming too but prob years after release of the film because.. mezco lol

No, the price range is way higher now. It’s so frustrating that they go up so quickly. Oh well… was excited about them…. Wolverine I had to pay $40 for and is on the way. Deadpool was over $40…

It's better than spending $90 on a figure and waiting a year for a ml plus most of my figures are 1/10 scale and they're easy to customize

I liked the SHF Indy...but to get both the SHF DP and Wolverine would be pricey. And since the Hasbro Legends figures have the alt head for Wolverine? I went for the Hasbros at the cheaper price. I may snag those arms though. Also they are doing a Legends Colossus as well.

The biggest thing I’m confused on with these two (and my personal dealbreaker for getting them) is why were they even made in 1/10th?

I'll probably wait it out to buy a deadpool since those are on high demand and quite overpriced aswell so I'll wait till the marvel legends one gets a good price on it (keep up the good work)

I'm getting at least 2 or 3 Deadpool's from Legends, the SHF and Mezco- but def the Mezco. The 2020 Deadpool movie Legends is one of my all time fave figures (almost the same level as 1990 NECA TMNT/Mezco Crow) and I own like 4 of him (I sold a lot of Nega Sonics lol)

I was thinking about getting them for $40 each on Amazon but after watching a few reviews I think I’m just gonna wait for the Marvel Legends since those come out next month

If you can I mean I would if I would get it, is probably add some like crimson red wash along with some like almost black brown too on him on the Deadpool to like give that same feel with him and what happened to nicepool.... If ya know lol. Wolverine yeah probably a little different too like brown dry brush and then a dark brown wash too but light on that. Or just shading too they look too cylindrical to me.

@@NostalgiaUnboxed saw someone do a black wash on Deadpool and eeehhhhh yeah it's not bad I didn't hate it but it didn't look right still. Mostly considering that Deadpool had like two gallons of blood sprayed at him throughout the movie lol is why I say crimson red, the deepest shade of red lol

I would say I’m most excited for the Hot Toys versions but i want to stay in my price range. So I’m excited for the marvel legends D&W lol. And i hear the reason for the ZD Toys Deadpool’s guns not being removable is due to licensing

Considering i found him on ali express for less than $20.... im okay with some weird paint apps and face sculpt. I think i much prefer the mask over zd toys trying to make a full face sculpt that would no doubt look atrocious. For the price im totally fine with it

I have both. The deadpool is decent enough to have magnetic eyes but the guns are sadly stuck as prop there. The wolverine however is really sad.......no alternate faceplates for expression, limp claws, sad paintjob.....
Their Ironman and Ultraman were decent enough minus articulation, atleast they're super affordable compared to getting an SHF.

Honestly? Better than hasbro. I never really liked how marvel legends is run, this is an okay representation for the price which quality that’s almost similar to other import figures.

I have the ZD toys Wolverine and honestly I got to say my paint application is pretty flawless.

ZD toys will never get great articulation. They basically always had the same limited articulation style as Marvel Select figures. They also don't make much non-robotic figures because they specialize in Iron Man and Ultraman Suits. So their Iron Mans are > than Marvel Legends', but human-like figures are worse.
