    Please do this series with someone that has a realistic income, does not have a large amount of equity in a house that can bail them out, or someone that has thousands of dollars in savings. We need to see real people that are living paycheck to paycheck get help. People that make 100,000 to 200,000 do not pertain to a majority of people right now.

      It's really heartbreaking to see how inflation and recession impact low-income families. The cost of living keeps rising, and many struggle just to meet basic needs, let alone save or invest. It's a reminder of the importance of finding ways to create financial opportunities. You've helped me a lot sir Jihan Wu!

    Love the series. I wish people would stop thinking a huge car payment is the only way to have safe, reliable transportation. I've seen so many people use that thinking to justify car loans, then they complain about the financial pressure of their overwhelming debt and lack of resources. Even senior citizens on limited income cling to their late-model cars bought with car loans for 'safety,' and meanwhile they are choosing which medicines to take, saying they can't afford the co-pays. We are EDMs, and our newest car is 7 years old, the next newest is 14. Both are safe and reliable, and the 14-year-old car made it through several road trips this year without a single hiccup. The reality is ANY car made in the last 10 years has all the extra airbags and safety features because they're mandatory. MOST cars since 2009 have the extra airbags too. Backup cameras? Standard since 2018, but available for years before that. You are fooling yourself if you think safety requires a $600/month car payment.

    Good for them! We were debt free, went to TN to see the Ramsey team and it was AWESOME! Life hit and big repairs, medical and other bills piled up massively in 2023 so we went back into debt, but through prayer and wise activity, we hope to be out again soon. Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Instead of trying to predict and prognosticate the stability of the market and precisely when the change is going to happen, a better strategy is simply having a portfolio that’s well prepared for any eventually, that’s how some folks' been averaging 150K every 7week these past 4months according to Bloomberg.

    Invest judiciously, keep a stop loss figure. Shuffle between debt and equity wherever the ratio goes too off your target. As for the target, I recommend a Ratio like this Debt % should be equal to your age in years. If you are 20, debt is 20%, reset in equity. If the market falls or rises drastically, your debt % will change, which you should rebalance to 20% and bring back equity to 80%. Thus you would have bought low or booked profit depending on if it was a crash or a bull run.

      Effective personal finance management is more important than the amount of money saved, regardless of whether income is earned through job or investment. Individuals can seek counsel from a certified financial advisor to optimize financial outcomes, who can provide specialized advice and methods to decrease expenses and maximize income.

I am debt free and have very little money in retirement funds compared to the total value of my portfolio over the past three years. To be honest, the Fin-advisor can only be neglected, not rejected. I’m not sure I can grasp the concept of selling a safe newer car with low maintenance costs to get into a used car with unknown maintenance costs. Why not keep the car when maintenance and payments are more predictable? I lived with no note for a few years but the maintenance costs equated to a car note.

    Big green flag family! This husband and wife team are truly family focused right now. Children don't need to cost a ton. Truthfully, having children can actually help you evaluate what is most important. They paid off 1/3 of their debt in 90 days. Looks like they may be able to finish it up in 1yr.

      I've been in touch with a financial analyst ever since I started investing. Knowing today's culture the challenge is knowing when to purchase or sell when investing in trending stocks, which is pretty simple. On my portfolio, which has grown over $900k in a little over a year, my adviser chooses entry and exit orders and now i can plan for a better retirement

      Yes. We started our married life this way 30 years ago and have continued to this day. And we don't have debt outside the mortgage. If one of us were to stop working, we could still pay all our essential bills with ease. That's true financial peace.

    Big red flag wife....You sacrifice and I'm going to stay home, keep my car, and you pay off my debts. This guy is super dedicated and sweet...she is absolutely not willing to sacrifice her comfort and then "gaslights" citing first job sales and then second safety.

    • @foxhound34
      @foxhound34 14 дней назад +4

      She even said she was staying home no matter the cost. Like WTF? Your kid is not going to remember spending time with you before the age of 3 or 4. Get your house in order first. So selfish.

      Kids benefit from their mother being home. A baby might not remember their mother being the one to nurture and raise them, but they are designed to find safety and comfort from their mother. The notion that you can outsource a mother's role to a low wage worker, and a child won't suffer is a completely novel and damaging idea. Children are young for a very short time. Look up Erica Komisar's research.

    • @staceymeldrum4476
      @staceymeldrum4476 12 дней назад +4

      @@SharkB503exactly. It’s not about creating memories for the baby, you are literally building their brains and nervous system. I’m not saying childcare is damaging, but there’s no question that staying full time with one primary carer is in the baby’s best interest

    • @pyrokiller11
      @pyrokiller11 11 дней назад

      @@SharkB503 I agree. Studies actually say that 0-3 ARE the most important for developing the brains ability to handle stress. I LOVE a wife staying home and raising her children. I'm saying...
      1. Get a side hustle/work from home as well. She has 1 child.
      2. There are so many DR calls about "boss babe," "career queen" women who get these degrees with student loans. They have kids. And then their student loan is their husband's responsibility because they want stay at home for 10-15 years raising kids. Meanwhile the guy doesn't want a divorce and just goes with it because he is a good dude.
      3. She won't sell the car...she is selfish. She isn't losing anything here. She's getting everything she wants and sooner or later that won't be enough either and she will make more demands.

      There were less video journals too. And I wish it were longer. I'm sure they are trying out different lengths to see what people view more of, but personally I'd prefer a longer episode with more info. :)
      They also didn't add in the interest on the price of car when she was doing comparisons, or the extra cost of insurance and license fees on a brand new car vs an older one. ♥️
