911 GT2 was tuned and on more agressive tires than the Pista, and it still was only 1 sec per lap faster. That's hardly "kicking butt". With equal tires, the 488 Pista is about 3 seconds per lap faster than then 911 GT2 RS. Look at Magni Cours lap times done by French Motorsport magazine, all cars driven by a pro GT3 driver on equal tires.
Hahaha fookin idiot on tje french test it wasnt on cup 2 so bs test on nbc they both were on 2cup and gt2rs was 3sec quicker.. So stop bs.. These supercars are really impressive. However all but the Aventador SVJ were running R-tyres so that is a big reason why it was off by so much. The big winner here is the Pista in my books though. We all knew the Senna would be faster by a lot, and the GT2RS had the MR upgrade so that is not even stock. But the Pista set a seriously impressive time. But yeah, the Lambo with their R-tyres (Pirelli Trofeo R) would have been up there with the others (not the Senna). I am sure about that.
j n21t4 it’s also very light and extremely aerodynamic with a super fast transmission. Power isn’t the end all be all it’s power to weight plus aero and insane shifts. The cars you mentioned are also older and therefore older tech 😀. It’s not making 800 crank like some folks think tho. The driveline losses on them are just not the stuff of old days.
j n21t4 I know it seems crazy to ponder but at the end of the day it’s only putting around 691 to the ground 😀 amazing how tech works. Of course after certain speed the p1 will pull away because of more hp but still amazing
MadXed It has Trofeo R tires at the Nürburgring vs Corsa (street tires). The car was not break in here. 200 miles on odometer. Lambo requires 600 mile break in before you go on a track.
I actually like the single clutch. It's extremely violent shifts just gives the car a character of being absolutely brutal. And it really isn't that much slower than the dual clutch. Although the clutch wear would be a pain in the arse.
Here's to hoping it doesn't return on the Aventador replacement. Honestly the Single Automanual is just too hard to get right. Only Ferrari managed to make it work, the rest are trash.
@@randomperson1614 Or they shud probably make it optional.. If a customer wants brutal shifts, he can get de single clutch.. Great video guys! Many thanks, enjoying. Would love to see you test the A110 Alpine prepared by BR Performance Lille. Seems quite something fun. ;) Cheers
That was an awesome video showing how 4 great builders can build a track focused car. Ferrari and McLaren for sure have a small advantage with their F1 pocket of tricks. Lamborghini have never been a Racing brand so for sure they will never succeed in their current guise. But Blow the doors!!! How fast is that street chassis 911, modified to the hilt, its far and beyond what a street car should do. I'm not sure but do you measure lap time with your smartphone? I hope I make a mistake
A technical master class from Tiff
noticed that too..although the phone may be connected to the track timing system and get the timing from transponders on the car.
Tiff behind the wheel, he is like a ballet dancer in a car, so underrated! But very, very respected in the business! Ollie Webb really a pleasure to watch! QUETION Ollie: Which watch mate? Great vid!
Ollie’s watch is a limited edition Giorgio Piola Carbon Racing Watch 👍
honestly wasnt expecting the senna to be as fast as that, i mean i expected it to win but jesus, that was a thrashing lol
It’s quick there is not much doubt about that
It not a fair fight...
@@campkira - yeah ur right, it wasn’t, the senna was like a daddy hyper car racing all these baby super cars… that was the only unfairness I saw 😂
So underrated this channel.
Thanks
Great to see tiff! Much love!
Thanks for this guys
Our pleasure, we hope you liked it.
I hope you reach 100 M subscribers
💯
Thank you so much!
N.P.
100k or 100 M?
Plllllease don't tell me that timed them on the stopwatch app on your phone? Surely not! Another great video guys!
No, that was just a prop
Imagine if the pista had a spoiler, the grip would be so much
Possibly but pretty sure it’s very grippy anyway
Tiff is the BEST. Shame we didn’t get to watch him behind the wheel. Simply a Legend!
It would’ve been fun
Great video lads! Forgetting the million pound Senna, great to the Porsche kicking the Ferrari and Lambo's butts, although it clearly needed someone like Oli behind the wheel to do that...
Thanks Joe! We need as many views as possible so went for the direct GT2 RS / Pista head to head :)
PS - see you on your insta live feed soon!!
@@derbigpr500 and note that in the first round of gt2 rs and the 488 pista, the pista is faster than the gt2 rs
Hahaha fookin idiot on tje french test it wasnt on cup 2 so bs test on nbc they both were on 2cup and gt2rs was 3sec quicker..
So stop bs..
Even a stupid child can see the gt2rs has much more df 😂😂😂 lol..
Ferrari isnt close when a pro drives them on equally tiers.. every car is owned vs gt2rs you need a race senna car to beat it 😂
Ferrari is trash
Finally a car comparison that does not revolve around a quarter mile race.
You could be right 👍
2 main questions. What they use for tires? And did they use a simple stopwatch again to measure laptimes? I hope not..
Professionally timed, the phone was a prop. The tyres used is in the thread ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Stopping by hand on the phone... are you kidding? 😂😅
Awesome video guys 👌🏻👌🏻
Appreciate your kind words 👍👍
If you want to race - Senna. If you like to drive - GT3.
Yeappppppp
Just a great video! Thank you
Thank you very much Max
I wonder how much HP the Senna gonna put up on a dyno.
Over 800 at the wheels, even the 720S puts out almost 780 at the wheels. Mclaren are lying about the power.
BeyerT1 lol dude the 720s has 690whp they didn’t lie your just too dumb to realize the driveline losses aren’t what they used to be
j n21t4 it’s also very light and extremely aerodynamic with a super fast transmission.
Of course after certain speed the p1 will pull away because of more hp but still amazing
probably 750-790whp meaning somewhere in the 850-950bhp range
Cool video! However, I can't believe they relied on Tiff's old iPhone instead of a timing transponder.
Anyone know what type of watch Ollie's wearing?
We used a transponder just used the phone for visual effects 😂
It’s a limited edition Giorgio Piola Carbon Racing Watch 👍👍
@@lovecarsTV Thank you. Looks to be the G5 Automatic Sport Watch. Very nice...will put it on my wish list.
How did the SVJ brakes cope with 7 mins at the ring?
🤷♂️
It was not driven by a McLaren driver.
MadXed It has Trofeo R tires at the Nürburgring vs Corsa (street tires). The car was not break in here. 200 miles on odometer. Lambo requires 600 mile break in before you go on a track.
@@exoticsautoclub9329 warranty void?
MadXed if something breaks Lambo could argue warranty won’t cover the claim cause break in procedure was not followed.
One of the most exciting Race battles i have ever seen. Wish u guys could have done a road driving comparision too in the future.
Thank you. Hope to do a lot more of this
Gt2 RS best car the of the category senna and other category
Great video, keep on going!
Thanks 👍👍
Lamborghini it really is time to part ways with the single clutch. It’s the weakest link to such a beautiful machine
and upgrade the brakes i love the performante but people complain about fade in that car too
I actually like the single clutch.
If de customer likes chasing lap times n prefer a smoother ride n cares about wear during real world conditions, they can go for de dual clutch.. Wud b interestin to c how many folks opt for de former
Epic Video! Thank you for sharing!
Our pleasure and thanks
Mclaren Senna yes better track car
But Ferrari 488 Pista is just better for the price ofcourse if you know how to handle in corners
And Porsche 911 gt2 rs It's for everyone who does not need to have any particular experience with that machine 💲
Nailed it great content chaps
Thank you
Senna is outstanding in performances but it costs three times a Porsche... It's an other category... Other than Senna it's a tie between Ferrari and Porsche, I mean Porsche was not stock... Lambo on the other hand did great if it really was on Corsa tires
Porsche was stock it was not MR mate...
@@andrewbrown652 you sure? The journalist said it is a slightly tuned version
Besides I think Porsche was on cup2r and Ferrari on cup2. I think Ferrari can be faster than the Porsche with the same tyres.
@@icydelight3693 yes I'm sure
As always great videos keep up guys
Appreciate your kind words
Finally lap times..., great review!!! Not completely fair but fun all the way...
love these guys, first vid I've seen from them
Glad you found us 👍
Hail to the king...McLaren
🤴
Whenever I see Tiff , I immediately press like
same
Fifth gear
11:13 AND THAT WAS THE SENNA!!!!!!
The Pista is a winner for me. Performance and handling and styling is great. And I would choose the McLaren Senna. One word for that car. Fast!!
El Senna es una locura!!! Bravo por el vídeo!!!!
Great video guys! Many thanks, enjoying. Would love to see you test the A110 Alpine prepared by BR Performance Lille. Seems quite something fun. ;) Cheers
that exact Senna with its owner driving, just set the Spa lap record for production cars
👀
OMG our dream comparison!!! 😀
Glad we can help
That was an awesome video showing how 4 great builders can build a track focused car. Ferrari and McLaren for sure have a small advantage with their F1 pocket of tricks. Lamborghini have never been a Racing brand so for sure they will never succeed in their current guise. But Blow the doors!!! How fast is that street chassis 911, modified to the hilt, its far and beyond what a street car should do. Porsche have dialed in the chassis and then given it to a bunch of track experts to really fettle with it. Genius! Chapeau Porsche GT2 RS
Porsche gt2rs didn't have the MR package it was stock
I would be horribly curious to know what brake fluid the SVJ was running compared to the other three. Fade in only two laps definitely seems like a less than top shelf fluid or some tragically poor brake cooling. (Probably a weird thing to take away from this video, but let's be honest, I'm not exactly in the market for any of these.....)
🤷♂️
Porsche is the clear winner. Price/performance/overall usability.
If those are the criteria they yes👍
This is a great awesome Video, keep it up !
Thank you very much
Surely wanted a Porsche test driver in the RS? that would knock 2 or 3 seconds more off that laptime!!!
May of helped but I think Ollie is experienced enough to give a fair crack of the whip. Please remember this is just a fun piece of content, nothing more👍
The Porsche was tuned. If it wasn't im sure it would lose to that pista
rashard D'Auvergne you could well be right
lol, the guy's face after Tiff says "I've got the traction control off"
😬😬
Tiff will be tiff...
Good to see Tiffany Dell back on t.v
You tube but thanks👍 plenty of videos on the channel with Tiff in
Very cool but dare I ask, what watch was Ollie wearing, kept catching my eye!?
Georgia Piola limited edition Carbon Racing watch
@@lovecarsTVThanks!
Basically, if you see a Senna on the road, it shouldn't be there. It should be on the track.
Fair enough
INCREDIBLE CONTENT
😎😎😎
pista for my daily and i'll have my senna shipped to whatever happens to be the nearest track.
Good work
This channel is producing great content keep it up
Thanks and we are going to try👍
