Joscho is Django on steroids! After watching him play AGAIN, I never ceased to be rendered speechless! For me, he saved the best for last with his renditions of Main Street Breakdown & Sweet Georgia Brown.
Joscho has got to be the most creative soloist out there! What a collection of awesome licks, arpeggios, and just outright crazy improvisations he puts together!
Joscho is an exceptional player !! Very few players can play fast AND melodic and Joscho is a master at doing it. Always apleasure to hear him play. I saw him one year at CAAS and he purchased a blue Gretsch there are the convention so it would be interesting to hear him in concert playing it.
Joscho Stephan is incredible but i have to say that the rhythm guitarplayer is pretty fantastic too. Rock solid and also plays a really good and interesting solo. Not a easy thing to do when JS is sitting next to you. I can hear Django applauding from far away. You guys are playing art.
@@adrianholovaty i really like your stuff adrian, and you looked like you were having such fun in this video lol. hope you're doing well in quarantine!
If you mean the condenser mic he has attached to his sound hole, I would suspect it's an Audio-Technica Pro 70 which is very common and available pretty much anywhere you look.

Bloody hell. What can I say!
The master of melodic guitar playing at its best.
Thanks for sharing ;)

Ce mec est juste incroyable !
Wonderful. Fast and clear, innovative and with a lot of feeling. He has all the qualities. Not easy either to be his rythm guitarist sideman
Like Biréli Lagrène and Stochelo Rosenberg, Joscho Stephan is from another Planet! What energy! Very physical!
Guess will be accurate to call him a guitar super athlete
For me he's 100m above Bireli and Stochelo. They have some talents, but HE has all the possible talents !
@@michelperel1408 Maybe you have to study more Biréli Lagrène.
Simplemente me encanta como se ejecuta esa guitarra

Angelo Debarre joven fue el mejor
Thanks - that's me! I've got lots more gypsy jazz (and fingerstyle stuff) on my own RUclips channel for anybody interested. :)

@@adrianholovaty Its great to see you in such exalted company and doing such a great job accompanying the maestro himself !!!!!!
Fantástico...vida longa e com saúde a todos e seus familiares....obrigado...
Joscho is a fantastic talent. His skills are unequaled.
Holy fucking shit. Joscho is actually unreal.
Mindblowingly incredible.
Chet and Django smiling from above.
Joscho is a genius!
Very much love these artists, incredible style♡
Chet is smiling from above for sure!! Great 🎸..
Joscho total beast
Amazing!!!
Mainstreet breakdown is absolutely fantastic...
Wrong place at the wrong time again !!! ... Brilliant
Qué tremendo músico, virtuoso como ninguno. Tal vez el mejor en la actualidad.

Solo Angelo Debarre le empata. O quizá solo se le acerque
props to the gent at the Pump! My wrist hurts just from watching!
Thanks, that was me! :-)
@@adrianholovaty what an honour for you. Congratulations!
Es un verdadero maestro de la ejecución
the song that begins in the minute 10:02 is just brilliant and gorgeous ...
beautiful really. anyone remember the name of that tune?
ManoucheDrome Gypsy Jazz Ballade pour django
3:13... man that's good
sweet mother of God :-0
Wow!!!!!!!
Аккомпониатор тоже🙌👏👏👏
Джошоу красавчик
Sweet Chorus à 23:30 est juste wooooo !
Amazing Playing there!!!!!
nightmare fuel for people learning to play like evh. seriously tho this guy is amazing.
. I
How did 7 people dislike this.
i can´t imagine the kind of thinking but also internet curiosity
@19:00 what song is this? Such a classic sound
Bossa Dorado. Original is by Dorado Schmitt, most famous version is by Rosenberg Trio, and Joscho has is own take on it as well.
Awesome
I bet Django would have given two fingers to play like Joscho! lol
Joscho has learned al lot more from Django than Django has learned from Joscho.
Have you ever heard Django when he went to the Gibson full body guitar...his speed and smooth playing was easy up with Joscho ...
😊
He's an alien
some of that famous german precision in the technique. =)
Mixed with Latin soul....
A mix of Gary Potter and Jimmy Rosenberg?! 😮
Jhony Correia, I've played with Gary :)
Way better than both of them.
17:12
anybody knows where i can get a pickup like joscho has ?

I don't know why he even wears glasses...there's no way his fingers are going to be in focus at that speed
I dunno, when all of the song is flourishes, nothing really pops. Need more dynamics imho

You do the stuff that pops! ;-)
@11:00 I slap you in the face
Terrible sound!!!! Such a shame for such amazing artists!
