Cool video! I have an RCF carbon/TVD myself. I ordered the carbon mirror covers as well to complete the carbon fiber look with the roof and spoiler. However, the ones I ordered will be the stick-on ones. There are some videos of my RCF on my channel. Keep making new vids of your RCF. Cheers!
Thank you for the video! I used this to remove the mirrors to remove the top caps from my 2020 rcf. Other videos say to use a screw driver and I was a afraid that shit was gotta break the mirror...lol This worked perfectly with the plastic pry tool.
I can myself snapping one of those delicate plastic prongs and then be screwed, I’d have a loose azz side mirror on my beautiful RC-F but damn she clean with those on, I’m do it. If I fail you’ll hear about it lol. ✌🏽
Was there a gap on your bottom inside corner edge - the inside edge that you can see while sitting inside of the car that snaps into the front plastic trim surround (at the base where the mirror assembly can be rotated)??? I ordered these exact Mirror caps and I am extremely mechanically inclined, yet I could not make them fit perfectly. The inside lower corner WOULD NOT sit flush against the outer black mirror trim no matter what I did. I trimmed, heated etc. The mold seems to be just a bit off or the excess carbon/resin from production doesn't allow things to fit perfectly. I got the rest to fit, but could not fit the lower inside edge fush. Very curious to know if yours were the same way, since you didn't zoom in on the inside edge after your install. Thank you!!
@@wasil1001 I left it alone. Absolutely no issues so far. It's gotten a bit better over time (I suspect from the hot and cold over time). If you want to make it perfect, then maybe run some black silicone in the seam where the gap is. It doesn't bother me much anymore...
Hey Dude, where did you get the caps from? All i find is only overlays that you stick on the existing mirror cap , and i want to get an actual carbon mirror cap
Thanks for making the video

I had no gaps, but the plastic piece had to be flexed into place because I think it was made in China. But no gaps.
@Hassounevo I have the same exact gap after install. Did you find a solution? Any issues leaving it the way it is?
