This video as tough to make because it's the first time i edit Bjorn and there is so many episodes with him. The consequence of that is that i focused a lot of my edit on the newest season, the consequences of Bjorn being king and his defeats against Harald and Olaf.
On the second part, i tried to put more scenes of season 4 and 5 especially battle scenes, and to focus on the growing conflict between him and ivar. I hope the video is not too bad, sorry if it is, not very sure about this one but i hope you can still enjoy it.

The best part about Bjorn is that he remembers the farm. He remembers, first hand, his fathers true dream and what Ragnar fought for. Just like Ragnar, he was a farmer (At least lived on the farm), and rose to be a king/earl.
His fathers true dream? Ragnar wanted Ivar to kill the Saxons. He gave a fuck about the farm in the end

The biggest lesson I learned from the series was that Bjorn Ironside was defeated in Andalusia by a Muslim army during his Mediterranian voyage and was forced to sail home with less than a quarter of his men.
Thinking Björn will lose, is Ivar's greatest mistake.

The moment when he says that "This time I will not fail" has so much more waiting when we know how much he had faced defeat and what is coming next. He knows he is going to die, but he also knows that this will be his greatest achievement

That silence they have and the lack of hate and rivalry which has been between them their whole life and that doesn't matter anymore is just awesome.
Michael Oates yep! And at some point in this show you can see how Ivar has at least some kind of respect for Björn. When he is asked if he is scared of his brothers and his answer is ”no, maybe Björn a little (along those lines)”.

Agree, although this was all in his head...this is why it probably wasn't Ivar who stabbed him, since we had seen the scene of Ivar coming from the land not the beach

I actually love what they did with bjorn in the mid season finale he has to rise and comeback prove himself to his people and his gods that he not only is the rightful king of kings but that hes more than just the son of ragnar and keep in mind the seerer said he will achieve something magnificent and I think it's becoming the one true king
though the seer said he will achieve something magnificant it was never planned to be king of kings he wouldnt of achieved that as it was a vote if he claimed king hood to all kingdoms that would of been it he was destined to loose everything and yet gain everything all along

I wanna watch this video over and over again. Bjorn has been one of my favorite characters of all time. He had to suffer through so much all his life and lost nearly everyone at the end. Yet he kept on fighting for his people, no matter what mistakes he made. He died defending his people.
This tribute showed just how honorable of a man Bjorn was, how great of a man he was. Thank you for making this tribute to one of my favorite characters on the show, this was amazing!! :D

We all think Bjorn is defeated but he’s not and he will prove what he said Ivar next episode. He will cement himself as greater than Ragnar.
An amazing tribute. The scenes were so well put together, and the music that went with it was great. Bjorn’s last episode will be 6x11 and I’m hoping we get a satisfying end to his arc.

6x11 was filmed with 6a. Alexander who plays Bjorn didn’t return to film for 6b.
Bjorn! Such a great character and Alexander did a great job bringing him to life. Easily in the top 3 favorite story lines in the show. Great job showing his journey :)

I feel like ragnar raised his sons showing different side of him to each, therefore confusing them maybe not purposely but nevertheless it did. Ivar being the conqueror ruthless scheming leader that he his is a direct effect of ragnar forcing him to be conning to survive( bringing him to England and outsmarting them in front of ivar) Bjorn saw the ugly truth of war and love through the mistakes of ragnar. Ubbe was always viewed and as a noble and "older more mature "son by ragnar he treated him with fairness and love hence the man that he his today...

Bjorn is my favorite person of whole show. He is true son of his father and even more. He sacrificed everything, he never wanted to be king, and in the end he lost everything despite his heroic end I think filmmakers shall do it better. Also all his children's were suddenly killed in the last serie, except the last not borned yet, where was doubts who the father is. How sad end of great man. This is only stain on otherwise great show. Hail Bjorn, as we know, this was not as he has ended.
