My first car was 1970 Sport coupe Lemans 350 automatic, golden with a vinal top, , two more door, I would love to find another one, lol BigAl California thanks
I would love to get ahold of one again, I would take this one as a service to you ,,,when you take out the engine and transmission, !!., ok BigAl California thanks
My second car was a 10 year old Lemans Sport 350 auto buckets/console, blue on blue with a white vinyl roof. Cars were cheap and insurance was expensive.
My first car is a 1970 Pontiac LeMans. It is a 2-Door Hardtop. It originally was a bench seat Powerglide column-shift. Also had 14x6 steel wheels with 4 hubcaps, and two-barrel carburetor. Now has the rally package, bucket seats floor-shift, Turbo-Hydramatic 350 and a Quadrajet. However, I kept it looking stock. Have owned this car since 1997.
Back in 1973 I bought a 1969 GTO and it was black and it had a 350 in it. I bought it off of a co worker who was from Walnut Ridge Arkansas, his name was Buford Hancock.😊
Those are Big Ole cars right there. Good luck with your Chrysler. Ive got a 68 Malibu on the front burner for my next video, watch for it soon. Thanks for watching.
Have a beige-ish Plymouth Valiant sedan. V8, weirdly optioned, got from the original owner, very solid & clean. It hides a lot of surprises these days, most do not catch onto what's going on with it. The most surprising thing to me? I've had people record me going down the highway, talking to me at the gas station, stores, with my dog...these forgettable family cars of the past are weirdly popular
They only used chevy motors on canadian pontiacs, they also used chevy frames on canadian pontiacs which looked goofy because chevy wasnt a wide track frame.
I just subscribed buddy found your channel my first vehicle is 1974 ford pinto station wagon and my first truck is Ford ranger extended cab 4 door XLT V6 2wd
I’ve owned a lot of pintos but never a pinto wagon. Pintos are fun with a V8 ford engine. Welcome to my channel and please like and subscribe, it helps my when you like each video. Thank you and merry Christmas.
@DEADCARRESCUE I wish, down under in Western Australia, only.got 2 dollar coins to rub together old mate. Our govt are determined to turn us onto a 3rd world country. I think us and N.Z are testing grounds for the crap they want to do to the world. No guns, now no knives. Immigration through the roof. Indian truck drivers everywhere. Anyway, you guys are my distraction. I can dream.
I had a 2 door like that. The 350 2 barell I had even with single exhaust had a lot of power. Ran great. Body needed help. Mine was that dame color that was under your trunk lid
@DEADCARRESCUE my 350 sounded jyst like yours. It would do 900 ft one wheel burnouts. Though I didn't do that often because it was not good for the rear axle
Buick,Pontiac,Olds,& some Cadillacs transmissions basically the same,have the V,bell housing ,short tail,Long tail,350,&400,turbo transmissions,Chevrolet is in a family all it's own !😜👍...
@DEADCARRESCUE nope Bolt pattern slightly different, but can buy as adapter plate will make it work, Also Motor & Transmissions together will Cross exchange and bolt into other G,M vehicles of same age era !😜👍...
Heck Dalton from Pole Barn, put one of his 60's Pontiac motors in a '60's Buick Skylark, and drove it across country,Calls it his Sky Goat !😜👍...Awesome Car...
You did good. That looks like a solid car. You also have a beautiful ram truck. Not sure why so many people in AR want a black truck with black wheels, Maroon with chrome wheels looks ten times better.
Back when I used to steal my Dad’s car, I had 6 extra sets of keys to each car. Lmao 78 Buick Park Ave 2dr landau and a 72 Ford F100 and a 85 Cutlass Supreme. Those were the late 80’s early 90’s in The ATL. Lmao
We both stole our parents cars I guess lol. Growing up on a salvage yard about 3 miles from where we lived, I would clean up on Saturday night and ride my bicycle back to the salvage yard. I would steal the wrecker and go to the drive inn. They never found out lol
Take the number one spark plug out. Shovel rag in the hole of spark plug hole tight as you possibly can bump the key until that rag pop out. Then stop that's top dead center.
I have a big one right outside my shop door. I just don’t think about using it soon enough. Lesson learned though. Thanks for watching and your concern.
Yo Bro. Love your videos and your down to earth approach. Very Inspiring! How about investing in a couple batteries and pre-charge before you make a video? Walmart Baby!!
I do all my filming with my I phone. I’m old school and my wife taught me how to do the editing and stuff myself. I’m kind of slow to grow if you know what I mean. As far as investing in batteries I don’t see you point. I never run out of battery power while I’m filming. Do you see something I don’t see, Let me know so I can fix it. I’m growing because of viewers comments. Thank you for watching sir.
@@DEADCARRESCUE Hey Brother. When you crank cars they seem to be done with weak car batteries. I just meant to charge car batteries ahead of videos to give max crank power. I think a weak battery hinders your diagnosis. My post was truly to help out. No criticism whatsoever. Love your channel man.
The smoke at the end is reassuring :D. Nice camera work, and nicer still talk through the wrenching process. What's the mileage on the car? (By the way, around 3,700 four-door hardtops were made in 1970). Best of luck selling it!
Chevy transmission bolt pattern is different, there's a chevy case and a B,O,P case, and a uni case it has both, Cadillac is the same bolt pattern as BOP but most of the transmission are different like the out put shafts splines, longer tell shaft housing
No it is not the same thing as a GTO at all the Pontiac LeMans frame was designed for a sports car the GTO was designed for muscle the frame of the GTO is more heavier
70 350 are good Pontiac engines they have 255 hp. That is not a Sport all Sports have bucket seats some one add those emblem's, even on 4 doors. The 1971 Lemans Sport in the movie French Connation that Jean Hackman drove in the high speed chase after the L was a 4 door with bucket seats .
1970 to 73 Pontiac LeMans very good build very good car
I agree!
I enjoyed watching this car come alive again....Thanks....see you in your next video.
Thank you for watching Dennis!
My first car was 1970 Sport coupe Lemans 350 automatic, golden with a vinal top, , two more door, I would love to find another one, lol BigAl California thanks
I actually had a 2 door version back in 84. It was a nice ride.

I like your humor brother, stay young!!
Thank you I’m young at heart and a rebel lol
4 door hard tops got a lot of cool factor.
I think so too. They are cheaper too.
Another good one steve. That's a ripper. Merry Christmas to you and your family
Thank you marky.
Those GM hardtops are very stylish ! I drove a 1972 Lemans 4- door hdtp years ago , and it was nice ..
I love the way they drove back in the day. Just a good old daily driver.
I would love to have this because I love old four-door cars that's right up my alley I love this car it is beautiful
Bring me $2500 and it’s yours.
@@DEADCARRESCUE its worth 2500 to me where is it located

Someone else mentioned that.

You’re right! Seeing old iron that isn’t all polished up and perfect will relate to the average car guy. Four door cars are catching on more.
They only used chevy motors on canadian pontiacs, they also used chevy frames on canadian pontiacs which looked goofy because chevy wasnt a wide track frame.
In the 80’s they had a strike and olds engines were put into pontiacs for a few months. Back in the 70’s I’m not sure.
Enjoy all of your videos here in South Arkansas Merry Christmas

Hello the Pontiac OHC inline six engine family 230, 250 according to some people tell me that it is a problem engine?
The OHC Pontiac 6 cylinder was a problem engine. I never drove but one that I remember. They were peppy I must say.
