I have a question 🙋♂️, do you know when season two will be? I didn’t follow the first season until the election and then it died so I didn’t follow the SMP. So I’m hoping I can follow season two better

@@billsfan274 Pro tip - We are technically on season four on the dsmp... lmao. Since its sort of a fan thing, which is why you might see lots of fans refer to it as "Volume 2" instead of season. (season 2 starts after L'manberg nov 16(aka s1 finale) With Tommy's exile, and ends with the disc war finale)
Also, my god you missed a lot then. I'd argue the best parts of the dsmp were after the elections. but thats my opinion. Though you must be mighty confused, cause so many things have changed since then. There are multiple playlists that have been putting events in order if youre interested!!

Is it just me or does Wil's line of "Don't trust those Americans" just him telling Tommy to not trust him, because now Wil's canonically American, or am I just reading to far into this?
He got bored of life in Utah, so possibly he just doesn't necessarily like Americans. Although the trust bit does puzzle me a lot. Like, did another American do something to Wilbur to make him not trust his own kind? Only thing that comes to mind is Dream intercepting L'manburg's independance. But then again, something could've happened to Will when he lived in Utah that we don't know about.
I'm assuming it's just meant to be a in character joke.
Because the entire reason l'manburg was made in the first place was to fight against those Americans, so Wilbur is referencing back to that with the added context that he's American to make a joke.
That could be a reference of him blowing up L'manberg
It can be referenced to that part in hitting on 16 fic where wilbur said that he would never lie to tommy.

However interesting the Dsmp season2 will get, it will never EVER be the same without Technoblade. The memories, the moments, the lore, it just doesn't feel right without him. He will always live in our hearts

Ether dream smp will end or something more will happen soon. The smp is just not the same without techno plotting something new and nobody has inherited his will and duties probably because nobody can. Technoblade cant be replaced he is a legend that will never be forgotten.
But sometimes not because of one sun fall there will no other else will rise. I hoped that there will be new person who will be the heart of DSMP
techno is what breathed fresh air into the smp
up until that point the role playing seemed forced and out of order but when techno joined the server,the jokes and relatability began to flow
once he left us,the server went back to that forced role playing and the script didnt really give any leeway for jokes either
For context,all we need to do is see the other players' stories that didnt contain Techno during his time in the smp and that clears up pretty much everything abt his influence tbh
true technoblade was my main link to the dream smp and thousands of others too so the dream smp is going to lose serious popularity too especially with phil quititng
wilbur is an omnipotent being, he sailed from utah, a landlocked desert state in the middle of the us to a 3d block world, I think this is big foreshadowing for season 2
My theory for Season 2:
Utah got un-landlocked canonically and has now merged with California's coast

As someone from utah, I am slightly concerned on how he sailed from a landlocked desert state into a block video game, but its probably entirely possible with everything that happens in the world nowadays.
Also I wonder where he filmed the desert part? Does Britain have deserts?

@@snowowlmv3 Did he? As a Utahan he could have very well have been in California, Arizona, or Nevada for that clip. There aren't too many places with Joshua trees in Utah even in Southern Utah.
@@gljames24 iirc, he went to Utah in a Jack Manifold video “just to get a sandwich from Arby’s”. They drove around what I remember to be Utah, and then got a sandwich from Arby’s and left. I thought it was suspicious when I first watched it. Idk, could just be my memory.
I personally doubt Quackity will die. His role has too much potential. He has the whole thing with rebuilding Slime, his new rivalry with Purpled, his grudge against Dream, his complicated relationship with Sam, the grand opening of Las Nevadas, etc. There's too much to wrap up in one stream, at least too much to dl it well, and I think Quackity is gonna be pushed towards a redemption arc before dying.

I definitely wish that Wilbur and Quackity would have had a final conversation with each other, but in all fairness I think it was because of miscommunication and scheduling issues. The day Wilbur recorded the September 2022 section of the stream with Tommy, he had briefly appeared on James Marriott's stream beforehand and mentioned he messaged Quackity what time he wanted to record, but he never received a response back :(
As person who lives in Utah, the man could have chosen literally anywhere else and it would have been better, not that I’m complaining, I think it’s really funny

Okay, so I've been wondering this since Wilbur's character was revived... What's with the bandage on his left arm?
His final death was canonically Philza's sword through the chest, not the arm.
Then, when he appeared IRL in Utah, he didn't even have the bandage.
Did I miss something along the way? Has there ever been an explanation?
YES! Finally someone saying it! I was questioning this for months and I kinda made it my headcanon that it’s somehow connected with the revival, but I have absolutely no idea and I’m not satisfied with it
@@blackberry8015 I have a headcanon in which only the killing blow is healed when revived or transitioning into your 2nd or 3rd life. Also the reason why tubbo's scars are canon.

Sometimes, I just find it funny and magical that all this started out in 2020, how the time has passed by...
I remember tuning in almost every day after school to see a stream and my mom yelling at me to do my homework
Every single stream, every single person, everything about this makes me feel better
The server now has changed and it's still the same while also being different, it kinda has lost its original spark, but I'll still support it nonetheless :)
Technoblade's loss is immense and affected almost everyone, and I still can't believe it sometimes, but the moments everyone had there (including the fans) are truly remarkable and memorable
I hope 1 day, after many years, these content creators just meet once again, maybe for a single stream or something like that

This really touched me, especially since I’ve moved out of the DSMP fandom. This reminds me of the ‘old days’ although it was only 2 years ago…
Yet it feels like a century. I’m year 9, but I remember I called my friends everyday in year 7 and we shared our screens to watch the DSMP. I remember watching so many animatics and animations with my best friend, as well as all the memories I had with her
I truly do miss my dream smp phase. It won’t be the same as before, but it was a great time when it lasted.
I don’t think I’ll ever return to this phase again, but I’ll pop in every once in a while (just like I did now)
Wilbur’s character was one of my favorites during the dsmp

my favourite quote from all time comes from a certain old man henderson and it goes like this "This is either hell or Utah"
The fact that c!Wilbur seemingly arrived to the DSMP straight from Utah of all places implies at least 1 of a few things:
1. c!Wilbur was born in Utah but arrived from a state that is on the ocean.
2. DSMP is an island on a saltwater lake in Utah
3. Utah in DSMP universe is next to an ocean.
4. This is a long one so buckle in. if you want a point form version then ask or look in replies depending on if that has happened yet.
The DSMP is an SMP but not in terms of survival multiplayer. I also used this acronym to also mean something else to explain things that are taken for granted but aren't quite understandable to me, we'll be using this acronym throughout explaining this.
SMP: Supernatural, Magical, and/or Paranormal place
This is a term that would not used to state that the place has those types of beings, but that, the place is of those qualities.
It makes the place have an effect that attracts supernatural, paranormal, and magical things to the place, and allows them to easily exist alongside beings that are not such, this is also called the SMP effect.
In some cases, it only does that, but in others, it can affect how things such as time, and mortality works. This explains things such as the three life system, why c!Karl, despite being a time traveller, always gets brought back to our present version of the DSMP, vs just the present version of the place he was in, and why ghosts can interact with everyone if in the mortal plane and not just with a few people.
The strength of the SMP effect in this place also explains why there needs to be a god (Drean XD) just to manage and protect the place alone.
That was a long one but yeah, that explains 4 theories, with the last one being so detailed, I will have a difficult time figuring out summarizing it. if you want it or a point form then ask in replies.
if i’m honest him saying that he was going to Utah 100% has a deeper meaning than that. Think about it. Utah has literally no water around the country so how the hell is Wilbur gonna sail there. Second of all, he already said to “not trust the Americans” despite himself being canonically American, so he might have been lying about something. Third of all, on one of his QSMP streams he has literally described Utah to be an allegory for death, which weirdly fits perfectly. Also, at the cutscene where Wilbur is seen irl at “Utah” it seems kind of weird that he would act that way. We can see that Ranboo’s limbo includes a desert surrounded by water, and seeing that the train platform and the flooded world are the only confirmed limbos could indicate that that little cutscene wasn’t even close to being Utah. All that explains that Wilbur did not in fact go to Utah, but instead probably died in some way.
