I thought v13 was saying Daniel and his friends were being sought to be killed also since they were considered magicians and enchanters or wisemen as well. 22:44 Most translations seem to word it in that way as well. I had never considered it from the context that they were being sought to do the murdering but I can see how this translation does seem to imply that way.
