Am interested in replacing my factory default cam in my mazda cx7 2007 ...it's in the same location as the one you have installed ..dose a non factory cam make the image off center or not by much to make a big difference....

What was a cutout that you used to screw a camera on?
A couple questions, was there anything wrong with the old camera, ie did u test it on the new display? Why couldn’t you splice the wires from the existing camera to the display? What wires did you use from the dash to the rear? Finally do u have a video for the front camera yet? Thanks in advance.
Resolution is low, an AHD camera is so much clearer, I would just use factory wiring and mount, less work. Factory cam is held by 2 small screws, you can use the lower half of the bracket to hold the camera through the factory mount
How do you make backup camera work when you go in reverse? What wires are connecting? My setup just have camera working constantly?

Brandon yes it will but most of these cameras have a time before failure of 50,000 hours.

Title is misleading. You replaced the factory backup camera AND head unit. I just want to replace the factory reverse cam and keep factory head unit
