Because of security reasons.
google already supports it in stock android. Its the OEM's intentionally keeping it disabled in their skins.
To my surprise, I knew each and every gesture before hand.
Me knowing all of these gestures makes me feel good.
One another good gesture is that you can start dragging a file in one app using 1 finger, then switch to another app using 2nd finger by swiping on the navigation bar, then drop the file. It works with navigation buttons as well.

I wish three finger swipe screenshot may come soon to the pixels, it's not convenient to press both buttons a lot of times and sometimes it just ends up decreasing volume.😢

you can change the brightness of your phone by just pressing the upper portion of your screen(where the time and other icons show- just use it like a slider) in pixel os

In RUclips app, swipe up on video for full screen and swipe down to go back, in case auto rotate is off.
Also watch horizontal video in vertical full screen by swiping down the discription part.

RUclips has some more gestures. Pull up on the seek bar to get the visual seek bar and scroll as you like. Place where you like and pull down.
Other one, pull down from the channel name to enter into the portrait full screen mode. Pull up to go back. And there may be more.👍

Swiping youtube video tile bar to bottom will switch the youtube video to portrait full screen mode.
2:51 :: in this context, In RUclips, we can also make the video full screen(when not in full screen earlier) by swiping downwards on the video title. This doesn't change the orientation but yeah, makes it full screen!🎉❤

The most useful gesture for the stock android/ pixel user would be double tap to lock or touch to lock (to avoid breaking physical button). There is this hidden feature in settings > accessibility > accessibility menu where you will get xiaomi quick ball type accessibility menu it's not that customisable but its pretty handy for those who don't like to use physical buttons and don't wanna install any third party app for this basic feature.
You can switch of individual notifications from main screen by long pressing them. No need to go to settings.
Would be great to have an IPhone features explained video as well !!

When your laptop is connected to a wifi but it's slow then you can connect your phone to laptop through usb and enable USB TETHERING by swiping down to notification bar you get there usb options.
Now you can have a really good Internet like feel in your laptop like using 5g network in laptop I FELT really good likee fast

Swiping down at video title allows you to watch in vertical mode
if you tap shift on the keyboard, it swaps your number keys to special keys if you have number keys in your keypad default.

Particularly in Color os We could swipe up with 3 fingers to open any app in split screen

YT & Gmail gestures are there on iOS, and spacebar cursor gesture is copied from iOS keyboard. I already knew these gestures. But some gestures you told are new. 👍🏻

I knew all of it, literally all of it, I have been using a few of them on regular basis
so I own a pixel 6a, so as we all know how to open one-handed mode, you can actually change the one-handed more to open notification bar, and I cannot go back now.

So while I was watching this vid I just found out that if you just tap and hold on a playing vid it just becomes 2x speed as long as you tap and hold.

When in full screen video, press hold in the screen to speed up the video by 2x and release your finger to watch in normal speed, super handy !
