I read a comment a couple days ago and it give more of an answer for a big question in the walking dead. How the did the military fall? Cause in a perfect situation, you'd expect the military to perfectly contain the virus and its patients - managing to save the USA. But its scenes like this when you really start to understand how they fell, cause of soldiers who went rogue to save civilians. Like in this case when Okafor bombed Atlanta and LA, but, save Philadelphia by bombing 4000 soldiers. Or in The Walking Dead: World Beyond, when huck and a large group of marines were staged at a facility with hundreds of citizens with the order to kill them all, she didnt and killed the marines to save the civilians. Or in Fear The Walking Dead: Underwater, when the marines in the submarine (i think) were given the order to nuke the USA, and they couldnt so it gives reason that other branches were mostly unable to defend from the zombies because of rogue soldiers who saved the civilains instead of themselves.
