I believe that he will be good, and be a NFL Quarterback. I'm just worried about the rest of the team. A lot of experienced players have left Green Bay. Take a moment to look at the Roster, Offense and Defense. Not a whole lot of experience out there. A little worried that their youth could be an issue.
Honestly that’s probably more of a strength than anything, the defense still has plenty of veteran players, Jaire, Gary, Campbell, smith list goes on, they definitely needed the infusion of youth, it’s long overdue
I don't think any Pack fans are thinking we're going to the Superbowl next season or anything. Think optimistically we could go for 9-8 maybe 10-7 and sneak into playoffs. All about assessing Love for the future though. Hopeful that he is our next guy at QB!
@@Rob-uc1xh I am a packers fan and I know that a SB is unlikely but possible, even if Love is mid as long as the defense rlly comes together. If that happens they are a threat, if not 7-10 at best

Love had the best arm in that draft class just needed work on his mechanics. The fact tom clements returned as the qb coach, the same coach that got Rodgers throwing style right while sitting behind favre, you will see a huge jump in loves game
The GB model of drafting an heir when your current QB has a couple years left in the tank should be the standard. Being an NFL QB is an insanely difficult job and taking a 21 year old right out of college and throwing them into the trenches is going to fail more often than not. Mahomes, Brady, and Rodgers all did not start right away. They learned under a vet and it showed when they finally got onto the field.
I sure miss Favre. Brings me back to the good ol days. Best quarterback in NFL history imo. Maybe not the most accomplished (obviously that's Brady) but there's nobody else I'd rather watch. I won't trash talk Brady though, that man is special.
All I’m gonna say, is this, the Packers have a lot of trust they need to win back, because last year, as a result of our lack of ability to learn from mistakes to overcome adversity and the motivation to win games, along with our horrible consistency and mentality going into the majority of last season’s games, last season was the definition of betrayal and I have very little confidence and trust in our team as a whole right now. Hopefully the Packers can somehow turns things around and Love can start off great…
I agree i think Rodgers was the Packers biggest problem he had a shitty attitude most of the time look at that SF playoff loss all because he didnt wanna throw it to anyone but adams and there were alot of games like that he liked to run the show even if it meant his way meant we lost
@@TomTom-bh2wfThe issue wasn’t Rodgers, it was the organizations lack of building a team around favre and Rodgers the last 30 years. Back to back hof and only 2 rings. How many times did Rodgers have a top 10 defense after the sb? I honestly can’t remember..
I remember Lynn Dickey under center, then Majkowski started. It was the start of something exciting and great! Favre was incredible, exciting and a pure gunslinger who never missed a start! Aaron was reserved, steady and simply fell short in the biggest games, but still a HOF QB. Love simply needs to trust his line, have great touch on the ball and stay healthy. I hope he has a long and successful career, but I'll never see him play. As a Disabled Veteran I put my love of football aside when the kneeling started, but occasionally I check up on news posts. I was telling one of my co workers the frustration I had with Rodgers at press conferences with the excuses about recievers not being on the same page with him and the offense not clicking yet, while not attending OTAs or some practices.
The receivers were running the wrong routes and dropping passes. That is not a Rodgers/OTA issue. I could see where Rodgers was frustrated since the best Packer receiver in team history was traded a week after Rodgers was re-signed. (Please do not suggest that Don Hutson, or any other Packer receiver, was better than Davante Adams.) As to picking Love, the Packers could have drafted Tee Higgins with that pick and been virtually unstoppable. I am sure Joe Burrow appreciated having Higgins when the Bengals went to the Super Bowl, the same year the Packers beat the Bengals during the season.
@@mhartan Sorry I have to. Sterling Sharpe was every bit as good of a receiver as Adams and even surpassed Adams in things like blocking and breaking tackles.
@@mhartan Everything it seems is measured in era's. Don Hutson was beyond brilliant, most touchdown record that took 40 years to break. He invented the button hook pass route. The guy then has to go play safety on defense. In a different era but way more talented than Devonte, To me he was the greatest Packer in their history.
It is not difficult to compare the Love and Rodgers transition. A few thoughts in comparing these two. First, they have had the opportunity to sit and develop their craft. Second, he has a great core of young pass catchers. Very similar to Rodgers with Jones , Nelson, Jennings and Finley. Now it is Watson, Doubs, Toure, Musgrave and Kraft. With a decent line and solid running backs. Actually a better backfield now than Rodgers had. Third, compare both defenses. Rodgers had Matthews, Shields, Jenkins, Woodson, Raji, Collins and Williams. Love has Gary, Alexander, Campbell, Douglas, Wyatt, Clark, Smith ( he may be gone), Nixon, Savage, Stokes and their Rookie Van Ness. They need to improve however it is a solid nucleus. Maybe in 2 years Love is hoisting the Lombardi trophy. It is hard not to see a pattern to the way GB does business. Finally, (in a year or so) if they get 1-2 solid to very good players in Free Agency. We could see the same thing. In conclusion, the conversation of similarities between the two situations is apropos. Let us engender an attitude of hope. None of us know for sure. The next QB could take GB from 30 yrs and add 15 more yrs of HOF QB PLAY!!!
What i seen from love starting in the preseason was different than the last couple. He was processing info much faster and looked relaxed and comfortable. I think hes as ready as he'll ever be. Nobody is rodgers but i think love will be fine
If the Pack goes 500 this year, that;s a great start.... New QB and basically all new offensive weapons. The number 1 and number 2 recievers were just rookies last year!!
After that schedule we just got, love actually has a really good chance of getting a good number of wins this season, even thinking pessimistically 7-8 wins is easily feasible with our schedule
I am loving the Packers moving on from the California Sweetheart Rogers turned into. I think Love will do just as well as Rogers did last year and grow as the season goes on and probably won’t tank if they make the playoffs.
It will be good for Love to have coaching from Tom Clements during the games...and Love probably picked up a few things from Rodgers. Give Love and Clements a few games if not the season.
Fast forward to the 2038 NFL season... Jordan Love gets traded to the Jets and 13 years have passed since Aaron Rodgers retired as a member of the Minnesota Vikings
I literally blew coffee all over my screen when I read that crap. EVERYONE knows Love is going to be an absolute BUST and I'm going to love watching the Pack eat crow. You all are due!!!! Wake up and smell the cat food bub--game over Packers! I smell a change in the guard coming in the NFC Central.
@raybrean9889 yeah but at least fields played. Also bears are rebuilding. I like how everyone is rooting Green Bay sans Rogers is my point. Love is going to suck is my point and the pack are going to suck is also the deepest point-not how great the bears are. I will be satisfied bears sucking as long as the pack crash and burn-that’s happiness.
He has the weight of following two HOF guys before him but he is in the right place. If I remember Rogers lost 10 games his first year and it did not rock the boat.
“He will probably go down as one of the best QBs in league history”? He’s arguably THEE best qb in all of nfl history. The only reason it’s not unanimous is because of Super Bowl rings which is a team accolade. Otherwise talent wise there is literally NOTHING Brady has over him. I can’t stand when people act like “oh well he could go down as one of the bests” no he *IS* THEE best to have ever played so far. Don’t downplay that

Rookies don't really need to sit anymore, with how much pro-style offense is being run in college now. Burrow, Herbert, Mahomes, Allen, Lawrence have all looked good in their first 2 or so years in the league.
@@spectralnighttravel Qb position is getting easier to play but Love wasn't ready to start immediately. No way, no how. He was much more raw than those guys
Can't wait to see the Lions and GB games this year. I still think that the Bears are a year away, Minn. Is coming back to reality leaving the Lions and Packers fighting for the division.
This is the same chatter that was around town when Favre was traded. Nobody had faith in Aaron Rodgers ability to replace Brett. After seeing this kids arm strength and mobility, I'm eager to see him under center.
Jordon Love is a turnover machine that'll be benched by November under the guise of an injury. The only thing opposing defenses will be terrified of is not having a TD celebration ready when the picks come steady
Spoiler alert, he's a bust and the Packers know it. That's why they bent over backwards for Rodgers and handed Love an "extension." Keep the receipts if you want for December lol.
Love has the best qualities of both Favre and Rodgers. He has simple joy of playing the game like Brett did and vision of the field like Aaron did. He surpassed expectations for last year, and I think this year is going to be fun to watch.
It’s a blessing to have had the opportunity to sit and develop his craft. He’s got a great core of young pass catchers. Very similar to Rodgers with Jones , Nelson, Jennings and Finley. Now it is Watson, Doubs, Toure, Musgrave and Kraft. With a decent line and solid running backs. Maybe in 2 years Love is hoisting the Lombardi trophy.
When love stepped into for a hurt Rodger’s he won me my bet by actually keeping the packers in the game, hit Watson on a slant and he took it to the house. Love actually looked good that game, not a packers fan but def gonna keep an eye on him
Wait. Why is he terrifying? The likelihood he’s at least above average seems solid, but that team is still pretty sub par on the weapons. Dillon, Jones & Watson ain’t a lot for a new guy to work with 😢
I still remember Don Majkowski (aka "the Majik man"). When the Packers front office traded a 1st round pick to the Falcons for Favre, I was annoyed. Then people were annoyed when they aquired A-Rodg and let Favre go. But it seems it seems like Packers fans have gotten a sense patience at this point. It's time to give the new guy a chance and let the old guy go.
Now that Rodgers is gone, so many of the younger Packer fans are about to feel some very unfamiliar emotions. Packers have had 3 decades straight of HOF quarterback play. Now, they have a slightly below average quarterback and they are about to relive the dark times of the 70's & 80's.
I'm not looking for another Favre, Rodgers, Starr, etc. I'm looking for a Jordan Love that can grow and get better. With the current team around him and the state of the NFC &NFCN, he can play average to above average and they have a postseason shot.
I havent ever been this excited for a season. We still get to watch Rodgers, albiet with the Jets, it should still be very interesting. Plus we finally get to see what Love is really made of.
Hopefully Love has bonded with the Offense an the support in the locker room is strong , a relaxed comfortable Love will be our best chance at getting results ,
Brett Favre had many great QBs sitting behind him while he started: Mark Brunell, Aaron Brooks, Matt Hasselbeck, Kurt Warner, and Aaron Rodgers. Aaron didn't have as many and I'm thinking it's because it's a system built specifically for him so chances are Jordan isn't going to pickup where Rodgers left off.
Everytime we have seen this young man play, he has improved. I think that as confidence grows he will get better. Remember he dueled with Patrick Mahomes and had better statistically numbers. I think his play is going to be between Farve and Rodgers. It's going to be hard to duplicate Rodgers numbers and accuracy and he has a little of Farve's gun slinger. Let's give him a year to settle into being a starter and see what next year brings and see if he blossoms like Rodgers did.
The Packers had a great draft this year as well. This team is gonna be fun to watch for the next 5 years. Reed is the next Legendary Packer WR out the 2nd rd
Having God-given talent and ability is completely different than having the wherewithal to deal with crazy expectations and managing stress. Hoping for the best for this young man.
As a bears fan I'm glad Rodgers is gone but i think love will be better than the media feels. If he's good hopefully he'll replace rodgers in n.y and follow the trend lol Not gonna be easy on him after 30 years of h.o.f qb play. Think he'll be good or better even with the pressure
I hope he'll be our third straight HOF quarterback and in 15 years we'll trade him to the Jets

@@Rob-uc1xh along with Chicago bears with Justin Fields.
@@Rob-uc1xh I am a packers fan and I know that a SB is unlikely but possible, even if Love is mid as long as the defense rlly comes together. If that happens they are a threat, if not 7-10 at best
Yes, it's a new feeling, but they can all get experience together, just like all the experienced people we had. While uaving a fresh start is hard, hopefully we can develop a team of experienced players.....and keep making it to championships only to fail :)
Love had the best arm in that draft class just needed work on his mechanics. The fact tom clements returned as the qb coach, the same coach that got Rodgers throwing style right while sitting behind favre, you will see a huge jump in loves game
The Quarterbacks I am most excited about next year are Jordan Love and Trey Lance. They never had a chance, but I hope next year they will
Trey Lance has had his chances, unfortunately can’t stay healthy
why would Lance get a chance since Purdy already proved to be a great QB
@@ernestogastelum9123 Because his ceiling is 10x that of Purdy
Love is lucky he got drafted by such a great franchise and got to learn from Rodgers. And yes Rodgers took the time to help him
The GB model of drafting an heir when your current QB has a couple years left in the tank should be the standard. Being an NFL QB is an insanely difficult job and taking a 21 year old right out of college and throwing them into the trenches is going to fail more often than not. Mahomes, Brady, and Rodgers all did not start right away. They learned under a vet and it showed when they finally got onto the field.
They just blow the Cowgirls out thier own stadium, was over on the 3rd qtr, wild card game, hes doing great. 3TD 157 quarterback rating. Lol.
Good luck!
As a Rodgers fan, I have faith in Love. I’m actually preparing myself for the lows that we packer fans will have to deal with this season but I don’t think it’ll be as dramatic as some might think. You got this Love.
I’m ready for the one Super Bowl win and the heartbreaks
SKOL!
As a Vikings fan I mean this from the absolute bottom of my heart. I hope you guys suck for years. YEARS. And I absolutely can’t wait for the Bears to sweep you guys this next year. Lol
have faith in Love.... yes keep on dreaming. You all are really really really gonna be missing Aaron. :P
@raybrean9889can’t even spell their names right lol bears won the nfc north without those guys and you lost to Mitch trubisky lol imagine giving the nfc north to him lol
Love isn't nothing to worry about i seen him play 😂😂
I’m sad aaron is gone but I’m very excited about the future of the packers, good or bad, this next season will be very fun to watch
“Jordan Love is Terrifying”…ly mid
lmao
He really isn’t
Just watch
Nobody knows, hence the draft "lottery".
I'd be amazed if we go .500 this year. I'm smelling more 4-13, top 5 pick. Hell, we lost to the Lions with Rodgers and the playoffs on the line.
8-8-1 you mean?
After these 1st 2 preseason games, I think we’ll do just fine
After the third week Love has the LOWEST completion percentage in the whole of the NFL. Dead Last at 53.1 . Even Stevie wonder could beat that .
I have been a PACKER fan for 58 years and believe JORDAN LOVE will succeed in GB. GO PACK GO.
It’s official, the Vikings are one step closer to getting Aaron Rodgers. GL in NY Aaron but I’m sure we’ll see you in purple in a few years lol
Could be. Kirk Cousins has 1 year left on his contract from what I've heard, and if he flops this upcoming season, well, you oughtta know by now!
History repeats itself
And love will be a star like how rodgers was
@@jonathanfrimerman8855lol love will not be a star lol love can’t throw for shit.
The schedule should really help Love navigate his first season. I'm looking for at least a winning season if not a post season appearance.
As a Chicago fan, I hope Love isn't great but i hope he comes out of Aaron's shadow. Love deserves to be the guy
After that schedule we just got, love actually has a really good chance of getting a good number of wins this season, even thinking pessimistically 7-8 wins is easily feasible with our schedule
7-10** ... there are 17 games in the season so with 7 wins it would be 10 losses FYI... I could see them winning 10 though...
@James McGurl I think they were saying 7 to 8 wins, not a 7-8 record. Even with the old length of schedule it would have been a 7-9 record.
Lol that’s really funny. I’m gonna laugh when he only wins you 3 games
😂
Haven’t watched football in a decade+ still follow it. I think I may watch a couple games this year. Excited to see what love can do.
I am very curious to see how Jordan does. The other teams in the division have been waiting decades for this, but they may have to wait some more.
@raybrean9889 can’t wait to watch the pack get swept THIS year by multiple nfc central foes. :)
Again I’m talking about THIS YEAR sans Rodgers.
Don’t downplay that
What Are You Talking about? Jordan Didn't done Anything yet He Might Be Just compared only to Justin fields and what that being said Brady is the Goat.
Best of luck getting GB to give love the support he needs to make it all the way at least he can always say. “ Almost made it to the big game.”
GB will be the worst team in the north for the next few years. Qb luck has ran out
1992 I was going into my sophomore year so i saw Lynn Dickey, Randy Wright, Don Majkowski along with Starr, Forestt Gregg and Lindy Infante. We're set up to not go back to that time
Everything seems to be TERRIFYING to you… bro scared of life
Lmao
Jorden Love, good luck this year. Dude, he hasnt taken a snap in the regular season. I'll come back here in November to see whats going on J&D.
In college Love was an interception machine
he had the same amount of picks in his 3 years as mahomes's 3 years, both 29
Same amount as mahomes. And can you nsme one nfl player on his team
It's highly doubtful Love could be a disaster. Get your Packers win the NFC North tickets in now.
He will succeed they did it right by letting him sit that's better then making every Qb start so fast
Love sucks
This is the same chatter that was around town when Favre was traded. Nobody had faith in Aaron Rodgers ability to replace Brett. After seeing this kids arm strength and mobility, I'm eager to see him under center.
Except Jordan love doesn’t have a good arm or can throw like rodgers and actually everybody knew how good rodgers was.
Jordon Love is a turnover machine that'll be benched by November under the guise of an injury. The only thing opposing defenses will be terrified of is not having a TD celebration ready when the picks come steady
Ima laugh in 2 years when greenbay starts treating him like mac jones
Spoiler alert, he's a bust and the Packers know it. That's why they bent over backwards for Rodgers and handed Love an "extension." Keep the receipts if you want for December lol.
worry about your own running back cosplaying as a qb looooool
@@Adam-xe5xm have fun with Trubisky's little bro lol
@@joerocks3057 bears fans having an opinion about qbs 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@Adam yea, we know bad QBs. Unfortunately for GB they think sitting longer than a season means improvement in quality. It doesn't lol.
@Ray Brean he won't, that's why Gute gave him that contract extension.
Love has the best qualities of both Favre and Rodgers. He has simple joy of playing the game like Brett did and vision of the field like Aaron did. He surpassed expectations for last year, and I think this year is going to be fun to watch.
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA enjoy your gaslighting and GO BEARS!!!!!! Justin Fields is gonna wipe the floor with the Packers!✌️
Cause they’ve been doing that really good the past couple years
The Bears have a better roster than they had the last 2 years
Fields and Love are both trash.

Lol bears fans 😂😂
Let’s hope it’s a repeat except for the only 1 Super Bowl
Jordan Love is and will continue to be a bust. We will need to use next years 1st round pick on a real franchise QB.
You smoking how he's a bust .. don't have no proof just talking and I'm not even a packers fan
Dillon, Jones & Watson ain’t a lot for a new guy to work with 😢
Welcome to the frozen tundra!! Hope you brought your snowshoes! 🌬☃️ 😄
I have a feeling he will be terrifying for Packer fans…..
As a bengals native i wanna see what love does. When i got into football GB was my team with farve.
I’m here to tell yall, love is doing great
As a Vikings fan we are "licking our chops". Love will lead the Packers to 3-5 wins next year. You can bet on it.
I hope he has elite arm strength and accuracy as mentioned here, but I sure didn't see it with the small sample size.
Now that Rodgers is gone, so many of the younger Packer fans are about to feel some very unfamiliar emotions. Packers have had 3 decades straight of HOF quarterback play. Now, they have a slightly below average quarterback and they are about to relive the dark times of the 70's & 80's.
your comment is one of the only ones here that is not delusional.
In college Love was an interception king. The Packers game is run the ball and 5-10 yard passes giving him a better chance to play a couple of years.
I'm not looking for another Favre, Rodgers, Starr, etc. I'm looking for a Jordan Love that can grow and get better. With the current team around him and the state of the NFC &NFCN, he can play average to above average and they have a postseason shot.
The glory days are over Pack fans. Now it's time to go back and revisit the 70's and 80's!
how do u feel now?

I havent ever been this excited for a season. We still get to watch Rodgers, albiet with the Jets, it should still be very interesting. Plus we finally get to see what Love is really made of.
I can’t wait to watch Green Bay get swept by the Bears 🤣🤣🤣 and the Lions 😂😂😂 and the Vikings 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
@@Oogiddyboogway AMEN BRO!!!! Flip da PACK
7-10 has been my prediction since the draft. Good vid
Why assume a first round pick that had all this time to sit and learn will fail?
if you made it to the end you get it😉😉
6 win season for GB
They also had Mark Brunell, Kurt Warner, and Matt Hasselbeck
Favre played for the Jets in 2008, not the Packers.
Having God-given talent and ability is completely different than having the wherewithal to deal with crazy expectations and managing stress. Hoping for the best for this young man.
Great content 👌🏻
If the packers can beat Lions , Bears and Vikings it will be a great season even if we don't make the playoffs!
Except the bears Are gonna Be The closest to the Packers.
Jordan Love is Jordan Love.
That’s good enough. Go! Jordan Love!
As a bears fan I'm glad Rodgers is gone but i think love will be better than the media feels. If he's good hopefully he'll replace rodgers in n.y and follow the trend lol
Not gonna be easy on him after 30 years of h.o.f qb play. Think he'll be good or better even with the pressure
I'm hoping this is a love season and not a love hate season
If our O line protects, Love can build his confidence in the team and I think he will be putting fear into the league.
I went to some of his games at Utah state… he did really well considering the team he was on. I like the kid. He will do well for the Packers
