    Thanks a lot !!
    Do you know which Japanese clamp meter would have LoZ feature or relative zero ? Thanks

      If you mean low impedance voltage measurements, like the LoZ of Fluke 117 & Fluke 116, I don't know of any Japanese clamp meter. For relative zero, if you mean Zero Function Button before making DC current measurement, I think most, if not all, DC current clamp meters have that including the Japanese brand Hioki CM4376 & this KEW2046R.

    I saw you had a Hioki CM4376 clamp meter, how do you compare the Kyoritsu KEW 2046R and Hioki CM4376?

      @ramschannelreviews  Год назад

      Thanks for watching. The Hioki CM4376 is superior to the Kyoritsu 2046R. This is expected as the CM4376 cost more, has built in Bluetooth adapter, thinner jaws, DC power (kW) function, better backlight implementation, and inrush current (both instantaneous peak & RMS) to name some examples. It lets you view voltage and current waveforms on the Hioki Gennect Cross app, as well. You can compare their specs for more details on their individual websites.

      @@ramschannelreviews ah ok
      How can i find clam meter
      My needs dc voltage and current , that its clamps detect volt up to like 50 dc volt
      And dc current i need it to clamp black car battery wire to see if there is leakage or not

    kyoritsu 2046r needs calibration??

    • @ramschannelreviews
      @ramschannelreviews  2 года назад

      Thanks for watching. If you mean the low reading when taking low AC current as noted in the video, yes I think my unit may need to be calibrated for that. To be fair, it's possible it's just my unit. All other functions were good.

      @@ramschannelreviews owh. because i also have that kyoritsu 2046r. I tried on the fan in my house and Tried looking at the meter I couldn't get a reading. maybe the 2046r can't display a low ac current (A) reading

      @@ramschannelreviews In your opinion, does my clamp meter 2046R need to be calibrated? because I just bought the meter clamp.

    • @ramschannelreviews
      @ramschannelreviews  2 года назад +1

      @@waiedragon9107 Just now, I took AC current readings of my stand fan with the KEW 2046R and a Hioki CM3289. The KEW2046R reads zero, while the CM3289 reads 0.30A (300mA). The KEW2046R apparently wasn't specified to measure current below 1Amp. This isn't surprising for an AC/DC current clamp meter. For instance, my Hioki CM4376, also an AC/DC current clamp meter, is not specified to measure below 1Amp. For AC current only clamp meters, like the KEW2127R & the Hioki CM3289, measuring below 1Amp AC is often possible. In my video, the 2046R measured 1.3A AC when compared with the KEW Snap 203.

      @@waiedragon9107 As to the question of calibration, my opinion is if you have convenient, economical access to it then why not? My thoughts on this is purely suggestion, based on my comparison of the 2046R with the current readings of my other clamp meters on low value current. However, there may be more factors to consider, which I am not aware of, before calibration is really warranted. Perhaps you can compare the readings of your 2046R unit with other clamp meter readings first, just to check as an initial step.
