A bottle of ice cold Coca Cola, pizza and AC/DC’s “wait’n around to be a millionaire” playing in the background. That’s right, I don’t have any creeks to pan so I enjoy watching a broke back man. 😂
I burst out laughing when you said “and you too could be a broke back man one day”. I never saw Brokeback Mountain but I had read about the movie and your comment made me laugh.
When I was a kid, we were always told we could not watch the television whilst eating dinner. By and large, I still agree with the old house rules but hey, this little film served as my dinner conversation over an easy meal of spaghetti Bolognese and a couple of cab-sav's. Thanks for the entertaining discussion Chris, busting to try out my new classifying sluice...just been a bit busy retiring in the last few weeks. It takes a bit of effort to stop working for good, well worth the trouble though.
What makes me an the kids happy Is your exuberant nature when we watch your vids Were pretty lucky Were pretty happy in life already thanks for asking 😊
Hi mate I found ur channel during lock down and it helped keep me sane, and been watching ever since. Nice to see how the channel has evolved and ur mad camera man peace out
That is one incredible amount of golden goodies, Chris! 🧐😳🥰 The specimen- regardless of its size - should be of more value. I totally support your idea of metal detecting the area to find find more species and rocks to crush. Perhaps you could get lucky and find a big one to dissolve some of the quartz off to make it more valuable to a collector! I can only hope! In the meantime, I can't wait to see the last half of the 100 bucket challenge! It has been quite a nail biter so far. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us, Chris! I'll be praying that you find a huge chunk-of-a-specimen, while not killing your back trying to get it to your car! Can't we all hope and dream??? 💰 Blessings from Alabama ❤️
I’m surprised you haven’t put the classifying plate on the ole mega sluice you made for that pay streak it would be worth it your process it all even faster
Hello Chris, Answer to your hard yakka is classifying, where you dig. Most of the material you carry, you have to manhandle when feeding the sluice box, regards George.
This is Chris, he’s not a dentist so we can show you his face on television. Driven by desire, brimming with hopes and dreams and fueled with banana bread. A beautiful story of a man and his lazy shovel……this is “ GOLD FEVER “ Coming to a cinema near you 😊
Love those slow-mo shots of your sluice, Chris. What an informative, high quality video. And a lovely specimen!! I don't have a gold-bearing creek nearby, so your videos make me happy!
What has made me happy seeing how far you have come from when you started this channel brother all I can say is well done 👍 you should be very proud of yourself.
I would love to see you do a weekend camping trip with Gadzee and Mick find a new to you spot and the three of you bust out 100 buckets from one place.
In hidden waters, pure and bright A secret creek, where few take flight A glimpse of gold, like sunshine bright Caught my eye, and filled my sight The creek's soft voice, a gentle hush As I wade in, with reverent rush The water's song, a melody sweet As I uncover, a treasure to keep Golden nuggets, shining bright and bold Like treasures hidden, since days of old In this secret creek, where few may roam I found a fortune, in this hidden home The creek's secrets, whispered in my ear Of ancient rivers, and tales so dear As I pan out, the golden sand A treasure hunter's joy, in this secret land.
Beautiful haul there and what a stunning little quartz specie! Keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing the crushing results from this creek. Cheers
I bring a small tarp or two with me to the creek. Just set up a row of larger stones, lay the tarp(s) over them held down by stones at top and bottom and you now have a quick dam that channels ALL the water.
2:11 the rubber boots i use I get at wall mart and I get the ones with steel toes and a steel shank on the bottom so nothing stabs me in my feet…(bout $35 USD) back to the vid… 17:10 SEE you knew you should have done one more bucket lol (you’d have hit that 2.5 for sure… ) great vid thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼 p.s. enjoyed the first two musical choices went well with the vid.
I absolutely thrive on banana bread with 5 star Western butter lathered on it😅 I'm down bad for it it gives me some good power to wash rocks and it tastes good. Been trying to find a new deposit has been hard going but I'm onto it again I think.
you should put sluice in slightly steeper and double up on sluices, you can alternate - this is better than you usually do - invest in a dredge but don't pollute the stream, use a side hole
Some fine grit sandpaper should sort that screen out and take off the shape edges. I like the black wet/dry stuff. No need for gloves then. Love the vids, keep up the good work!
Great video as always! The sluice box is intriguing. Do you have to build the sides up around the sluice for stability? Pushing the classified material over the punch plate doesn’t shift the sluice on you? Thinking of purchasing one.
Cheers for the vid Chris. May I ask, what brand of sweatpants do you wear and how true-to-size are they? I too have large feet and am struggling to find ones that fit. Thanks :)
hey Chris, I will take the over on your 5k per oz prediction... I would take the over on a 5k usd per oz prediction as well... the future for those who hold their wealth in real physical assets is bright!! for those who save in fiat printed out of thin air currency.... not so much...lol
hmm I wonder if one of those rubber bristled brushes would work on the finger grater I have been following the 100bucket challenge and if youre up to 70buckets at 6 pans per bucket with lets say 50specks per bucket youre on about 3000 banana breads already ...
Chris, you said at the beginning. This Is The Right Kind of gravel for that sluice. My question to you is what's the wrong kind of gravel for that sluice..
🦶🏼🦶🏼🦶🏼🦶🏼😂👀 that is an interesting way of finding gold😮 but I hope that you kept all those piles of dirt and you checked it out later thank you that's a lot of nice shiny thank you for the video see you on the next one😂😂😂❤❤😅
I need good health to be happy. I am waiting on transplant that might not happen. However i love trying for gold if im able. Still have not found anything but few of fly poops. Im optimistic though. I might get some pay dirt just because i cant get out. But i would love to see a smily face of gold. Lub vids bro!
Who is your toolcrib man, we can include such a person in the mix, and may be for the best. Be toolcrib equipped with a prospecting team worth millions more...blessings...m
Why do you carry the extra water weight? One thing that makes me happy is Bo-Gus and Birdshot prospectors collaborating. I kid, greatly enjoy both channels.
@@VoGusProspectingand sometimes after repeating enough times to finally get it right, you realize that instead of hitting record you just took a still picture…. 😣 ahh the fun…. At least you have creeks with gold around 😁
What makes you happy on the creek?
About to pan out my 1g pay dirt I got from your shop!!!! pretty sure that is going to make me happy!!!
Shoot just being alive and able to still make it out to one. Dealing with end stage renal failure and go panning as therapy
Family.

good fish?
I burst out laughing when you said “and you too could be a broke back man one day”. I never saw Brokeback Mountain but I had read about the movie and your comment made me laugh.
That sluice looks like a setup I need! That creek has some massive mineralized quarts chunks in it.

Nice Pile of Au Chris!! Rock ON!! JJ
Not a bad take hey bud
Well done Chris! You moved heaps of dirt brother and built an incredible sluice dam in the process. Such a good find so much shiny indeed.👍😎🎩⚒️G.P.
I really enjoy all of your content BUT that was my personal favorite from the last 3 years of viewingng.
Another Awesome Prospecting Video!
That was a good day. I smiled and laughed. Thank you. Blessings

I Like Rocks 😂😂😂 Great episode Chris 👍👌
Great job. Love your enthusiasm and dedication.
That was funny and keep it up
Awesome clean up. Can't wait to see the shiny pans for the end of the 100 bucket challenge!
Thanks Chris!
Years of commercial fishing already broke my back... gold prospecting just likes yo remind me of how broken it is from time to time
Chris what a fantastic video mate 👍 cannot believe you didn’t even have a tripod amazing. Just may be my favourite episode yet all the best 👍👍👍

I was happy with those shots too.
Thanks a million for what you do 🎉🎉
You are a born teacher and can I say from most viewers appreciate you just as much as I do😊

I like the 8 inch the best, can still get away with some slower water flow.
Thanks Chris, now in going to go play in my sandy creek. My gold is like talcom powder. At least the water is cool..
The sluice was working really well Chris. Great take of gold 😁👍
Works wicked in the right soils
In hidden waters, pure and bright
A secret creek, where few take flight
A glimpse of gold, like sunshine bright
Caught my eye, and filled my sight
The creek's soft voice, a gentle hush
As I wade in, with reverent rush
The water's song, a melody sweet
As I uncover, a treasure to keep
Golden nuggets, shining bright and bold
Like treasures hidden, since days of old
In this secret creek, where few may roam

Of ancient rivers, and tales so dear
As I pan out, the golden sand
A treasure hunter's joy, in this secret land.

I love to fish for trout while I am at the creek also. I also wear a size 13 shoe. So after the buckets of dirt the fish caught are supper.
Thanks Chris! Looks like you had nice day.
WOW that was Awesome :) 👍🏻X💯😎 . SKK .
Great video as always, beautiful specimen in quartz dude !
This bucket challenge is a beast only 30 buckets to go 😂
It's a bloody hard challenge, mostly because you're constantly trying to find good quality pay to.run.
Gold Jesus once again blesses us with his buckets of goodness 😇😆😆
Great video.
if you want many buckets, get Bruce buckets, they are awesome!!
Awesome little creek! I make mini steel gold pans for weigh ups, if you have PO Box i'll send ya a couple. Helps make the gold look bigger!
That's wicked man, I'd love to see them!
My postal address is po box 292 wodonga Victoria 3689 Australia
Another nice chill and informative video, I always enjoy watching them
Hi Chris, another good one bud , going well in challenge, keep it up ,will be getting a paydirt bag again , about 2 .4 g
🤞thanks man
Happy is that first time each year when you feel the sun rather than just see it. And the first good rain after the hot season.
Sitting here eating popcorn watching the bucket challenge, heading to 100, one shovel full at a time!😊
Thanks for yet another very entertaining video Rock on Chris
The tarp idea one of the steves come up with ❤
I thought your "no name bucket" riff was a remix of the Ning Nang Nong. Someone really needs to make that happen
Love the new weird angles!
Grate show
I absolutely thrive on banana bread with 5 star Western butter lathered on it😅 I'm down bad for it it gives me some good power to wash rocks and it tastes good. Been trying to find a new deposit has been hard going but I'm onto it again I think.
You could give your back a break and use a house broom or floor brush or barn broom to clear off the sluice.
you should put sluice in slightly steeper and double up on sluices, you can alternate - this is better than you usually do - invest in a dredge but don't pollute the stream, use a side hole
Dredging is not allowed in Victoria
Who needs Psychiatric counseling when you can spend all day talking to a bucket and sluice! Keep up the good work!!!
Some fine grit sandpaper should sort that screen out and take off the shape edges. I like the black wet/dry stuff. No need for gloves then.
Love the vids, keep up the good work!
You could tumble the classifying plate in some grit to soften those sharp edges.
It's more that you're pushing rocks off it than the grate itself.
I climb and cut/prune problem tree's. Nothing like hanging around 65 ft in a 🌲 with a chain saw, bringing a giant to the ground gracefully 😎
How can you tell that someone is an arborist? Don't worry...they'll tell you.
Num num num num, love me some gold!
Great video as always! The sluice box is intriguing. Do you have to build the sides up around the sluice for stability? Pushing the classified material over the punch plate doesn’t shift the sluice on you? Thinking of purchasing one.
Also i like the music 🎶 thats a nice addition ❤

That 1088 is a beast of a sluice too!
Hay Chris, Just a question, when the old timers first found gold in the creeks, what do you reckon they would pan per hr .
1.2K+👍's up VGP thank you for sharing 🤗
It smells in here!!!!!
Can you just have one sluch (spell check). And pan in any river or do you need all this different kit for each kind of place ?
Nice day!
That chainsaw sounds like a little kid’s toy. LOL
@Pax.Alotin LOL
hmm I wonder if one of those rubber bristled brushes would work on the finger grater
I have been following the 100bucket challenge and if youre up to 70buckets at 6 pans per bucket with lets say 50specks per bucket youre on about 3000 banana breads already ...
I much prefer using the baby bucket lol just doesn't fit my classifier maybe need a minelab 1 or make my own plate for my big sluice. 👍⚒️🏴
That's the issue I have, won't fit the classifier
Chris, you said at the beginning. This Is The Right Kind of gravel for that sluice. My question to you is what's the wrong kind of gravel for that sluice..
Thick clay
It takes longer to classify but there’s less dirt in the bucket but you can do more buckets! So many variables! Classic prospecting 🤣
Being their!!!!!
Or been there?
Just being near water! I live in the Texas dessert.
Paydirt from Australia to the mighty England 🏴 in 10 days. I challenge anyone to top that 👌🏻 what an absolute legend ❤👍🏻⚒️🏴
That sluice is dope
Great video. Love the sluice. Can you share the name
I see Chris has been out Raving,
I know nothing about prospecting and love watching the videos. That said, what is the process of selling the gold?
I need good health to be happy. I am waiting on transplant that might not happen. However i love trying for gold if im able. Still have not found anything but few of fly poops. Im optimistic though. I tip all the water out, well as much of it as possible.
The One Liners are flowing free this Episode :D
Good day mate… Hope life’s playing nice
Nam nam num num 😂😂😂 my ribs hurt.
Hey Chris your a legend. I wouuldlike to see you grow a glorious mullet, it would be appropriate for a Victorian bloke. Cheers
I am not worth of a mullet
I’m so glad I’m not the only one that struggles with my lines that my own brain comes up with, and then can’t repeat seconds later 😂
Sometimes English.exe fails
@@VoGusProspectingand sometimes after repeating enough times to finally get it right, you realize that instead of hitting record you just took a still picture…. 😣 ahh the fun…. At least you have creeks with gold around 😁
Anyone know where I can get that sluice from, or was it home made. Cheers guys.
Gold Rat
You can keep your banana bread as it’s only good for the compost heap lol
Try make your own bannana bread its easy to do and tastes even better and you also get rid of all them dark bannanas
Yep, My wife cooks a mean banana bread....
I love this intro😅😅
Pauly has extra buckets
