  • Kofi Siriboe and Yootha Wong Loi Sing talk to BlackFilmandTV.com correspondent Sidnee Michelle about their romantic drama Really Love
The film was helmed by first-time feature director Angel Kristi Williams, who also co-wrote the script with Felicia A. Pride.
The story follows the life of a starving artist (Siriboe) in gentrifying Washington D.C. who is struggling to find his place in the prestigious art world. When a young law student (Wong-Loi-Sing) unexpectedly comes into his life, he must choose between a whirlwind romance and his budding career as a successful painter.

4:05 to 4:29 I like what the interviewer, Sidnee Michelle said. I love history, whether it be in the past, or the history the world is making now. I will support movies with pain, as long as everything seems historically accurate and authentic. However, it's movies like this that make me really happy. I think it's important for myself and fellow white people to be able to support movies where black people experience various parts of life. Shout out to the entire cast and crew. You all did a great job.

This movie was terrible and slow. I actually skipped towards the end. The storyline was predictable. Some things were good like no criminals, or stereotypical focus on blackness and just having regular black people living. However it just didn't hit the mark for me. Like the actress, sounds intelligent and hope she gets cast in better projects.
