JamWayne and Keith Cash are both great and both different at the same time! The styles are definitely different! Keith's style, to me, is an almost perfect blending of country and rap! I think Keith has the talent to be the LL Cool J of Country Rap and by that I mean the first real country rap artist to get mainstream acceptance and radio airplay! The problem is promotion and just getting yourself known! There are millions of people out their who I do think would be fans of Keith (or at the very least willing to take a listen), but they don't even know Keith exists! That's the reality that has to be overcome! LL Cool J was and still is (at 56) a one man band and Keith gives me those same vibes! Yeah I'm a big fan of Keith and I want to see him succeed! I've been listening to country rap since 2008 (listening to Jawga Boyz, Colt Ford, D Thrash, Bottleneck, Young Gunner, Big Smo, FJ Outlaw (and Mike Bama), Outlaw (The Backwoods Badass), and Redneck Souljers)! I've been listening to street rap music since 1984 (LL Cool J, RUN-DMC, Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, Fat Boys, yeah I was into all of them)! I'm 54 and white and country (Maryland and Tennessee) and American! I'm also a Gulf War Veteran (Operation Desert Shield, Operation Desert Storm, Operation Eastern Exit, Operation Provide Promise)! Any fans of Keith who might read this, we need to share his music with everyone we know through social media and even through video links in chain e-mails! Grassroots campaign! My current favorite country rap artists are 1) Keith Cash (Keith hasn't released as many tracks as JamWayne, yes I know that, but his tracks are QUALITY and his music just resonates with me for some reason, it just is what it is, I'm a huge fan, FOR LIFE, and I'm not getting any younger) 2) JamWayne (country to the core and a great talent, I'm a huge fan, also for LIFE, in fact my dream is for JamWayne and Keith Cash to team up for a while, as a duo, a Country Rap Version of RUN-DMC, though JamWayne and Adam Calhoun could also be a great Country Rap version of RUN-DMC, it's the power of the beard) 3) Marcotic (12S and the Keith Cash collaboration are my favorites, I like Ride Out with Justin Time too, to me that's the National Anthem of Country Rap, and Whytefolkz is really funny, I love his contributions 4) Hessom (but I know he's going to rise in my personal ranks and he really engages with his fans, I know he's country to the core, you can't hide that, those country values are just there, on display) 5) TW ICE (he's a natural talent and I love the entire Muddy Water Gang, especially TW ICE, Déjà Vu, Gordo Loco, and Campain, my wife really likes Gordo Loco, she thinks he's really talented, both singing and rapping, my wife really likes JamWayne too, but at first she thought he was a homeless person)! So yeah, this is a letter length post basically, but everyday is a gift and I just wanted to write this! It's like in Football, when the momentum is behind your team or star player, you need to capitalize on that immediately or opportunities can be lost! Keep griding and don't lose momentum because people have short attention spans! To the country rap artists I support, I'm with you win, lose or draw! Of course I want you all to win and make money!
