Sky Yeah, we probably won’t test our luck with another top speed video but it definitely has the potential. Top speed of the w2000 was 90 so we are close I think.

Love the editing for the intro. Rotary's are strange things lol. The new exhaust looks and sounds way better. This is the coolest fucking kart EVER!!! And now that it's almost dialed in, I can't wait to see what you guys have planned for it. Definitely a very unique build with a lot of time and heart put into it.
In the old days, my friend had a Peugot Speedfight, that did 90MpH, with an tiny engine (2 wheeler, but still). This thing must be able to go a lot quicker with that engine, and gears.
It looks like you guys need to change your gearing. Just a lil bit. Your taking too long to get to your shift points and its not running out the top end as well as it could be. Its real close though and looks/works amazing. You guys have done an amazing job with this kart. Just fix the gearing and pleeease touch up that livery! Its so cool but so wobbly! Lol Cheers!🍻
Eh guys You should use the volume metric space of your cylinder as a base for your header pipe space before your muffler, and make sure your muffler has the right amount of flow for the type of motor you're running, just helpful hints in performance aspects of what you're building
That cart is insanely fast. Holy mackerel. Lol. Looks like a lot of fun. The law has to spoil everything. Glad you didn’t get caught. Somebody snitched on you guys. 🤬people
I just wanna commend y'all on having some GIGANTIC SOLID BRASS BALLS!!! Going 80mph, in a Kart, on a back road like that is absolutely INSANE!!! And I don't mean because of traffic; the conditions of roads like that, are just super sketch! I salute you! Btw it's got a lot more speed in there too, get that on a proper track or some fresh blacktop with a proper straight away and I'm thinkin 90+ no problem..?
Ok, so I obviously posted that ^^^ comment before watching the entire video; you gotta change the gear ratio. And idk what y'all are gonna decide but it looks to me like it needs the acceleration (shorter) more than it needs the top end (longer)? I'm thinking shorter gears will still get y'all in the 90+ range, they'll just get you there a lot quicker..? Cause in both runs it appears you're running out of road before you're running out of gears, so they're clearly too long. So; as is, you might get 100mph, with enough road and the right wind conditions, but, the question is how much road will it take? And let's be realistic; how often are you really gonna see TOP Speed anyway? I'd go for the shorter quicker gears with a top speed of 70-80mph and have something that can out accelerate a Tesla and turn on a dime, over a 100mph top end any day! Regardless of what you decide, this thing is EPIC!!! And I'm so happy to see all the hard work and commitment finally paying off for y'all! Congrats fellas.
That’s easily a 100 mile an hour cart once you get the right gearing. It doesn’t even seem close to be fully wrapped in 6th gear. But then I’m not familiar with rotary engines and what they’re able to handle. But it’s definitely an awesome beast!
A little hp tip; change the way the intake changes to directly forward and find a free flowing filter that doesn't block the air flow straight to the carb intake, will help all over the rev range look up 'ram air effect'
Wicked build, guys. One small thing though... The intake position. Would it do ya any good if you'd build an airbox 'round the filter, with a pipe directing the airflow right onto it? To creat a ram-air-effect i mean.
They would need to increase the fuel delivery properly. It's possible but not sure about the limits of their fuel set up. RE's really don't like lean conditions. It's pretty safe right now. More air and fuel will need bigger ports and more work. Simple things but should be planned out well to keep it healthy and running.
I was just at Rather B. Nice to see you guys there. Awesome Buggy, Huh? Now we get to see the Rotary. I love this kart. Don't think that my mentioning RBW lessens the AWE factor of you young men. Nothing could be further from the truth. OK, I am now starting the video. I can't wai
A Rotary engine is basically a 2stroke. Maybe a 2stroke chamber pipe and tip would make more power!? IDK... but something to try! I do know usually Rotary engines can turn very high rpms that setup doesn't seem to be taching out!
Nice job buddys, make the engine bridge port or pheripheral port and exhaust port.advance + timing.sorry for my bad inglish from Puerto Rico.Home of Fastest Rotaries.
Hey guys. I'm driving a original Hercules Wankel 2000 and a good Hercules runs about 135 km/h maybe you are a Small driver (I am not) you will hit 140. So the kart should go 85 mph and more. Turbocharging is no good idea to this engine. It suffers from overheating back bearing even in the NA. It's just air-cooled you will melt it with a turbo.
Still sounds like it has a lot more rpm in it. It bogs out way too early. Maybe a modern carburetor and a dyno tuner that knows and understands rotary's and this thing would rip like no other! That said, stay safe and find a track or some event where you get a chance to test it properly. :)
You guys should build another one with the rotary suzuki re5 motorcycle engine water cooled and double the power of that Sachs rotary at 60 hp should make for a ridiculous kart.
Xlnt work guys ... question what was the gear ratio on the bike that u pulled the motor off of . Don't go up too much try 2 teeth and see where that takes u .
You could probably get 90-95 out of it with perfect gearing
Sky Yeah, we probably won’t test our luck with another top speed video but it definitely has the potential. Top speed of the w2000 was 90 so we are close I think.
With good gearing I think he could break 100mph, that rotary starts making power in the mid high rpm range.
Test it in the Air field
I was jus gonna say put a turbo🤷🏻♂️ why not lol
