One reason I use 20k+ dpi is when I am playing Roadhog on Overwatch. I use my normal 800 DPI, and as soon as I hook someone, I toggle the dpi to max so I can spin people in circles at light speed.

3:52, sensors 'spin out' at a certain rate. The higher the DPI the sensor is capabale of, the faster you can flick before spinning out, even at DPIs much lower than the sensor's maximum.
AFAIK spin out has nothing to do with it's max DPI. Not only that, but at we have long passed the point where any decent sensor will spin out under human conditions.
That's a use for higher DPI, but not this high. 22k is just absolutely ridiculous. This mouse is clearly aimed at serious FPS players, and its been shown over and over again that low-med sens is better for precision. The only example i can think of that would call for higher than about 8k is someone with some sort of problem which stops them from moving their hand longish distances (i have a friend who sustained significant nerve damage in his hand from a car accident and he now uses a higher DPI). Also we got to the point that a human cant spin out a sensor like 4 years ago, so its more for flicks faster than humanly possible, rather than faster flicks than the spin out point allows. Its a marketing strategy, as people assume that more DPI = better sensor.

I'm pretty sure that the reason of high DPI is to select extreme low sensitivities in game, in order to make the minimum angular distance between a direction and the nearest one, lower. This is how I always used mices in game, and that lets me always have subpixel accuracy even with the "most zooming" snipers out there.

I used the razer basilisk ultimate for 1.5 years and liked it (not the stupid charging dock tho) but it stated having some issues. And after using the superlight it's night and day. It's so light and i was worried about the size or the shape but it's great
I've been using it non stop (5-8 hrs a day for 2 weeks) and its an amazing mouse. It comes with a lot of cool features and im sure arki explained it better than i could but i do have one complaint that he didn't mention. The side buttons. Im on the bigger side of hands and i feel like the side buttons are placed a little lower on the mouse than usual. also they aren't very clicky and are hard to press at some times. I play mostly fortnite and side buttons are a huge part of my gameplay so keep that in mind when purchasing. Overall impressive mouse.
I picked up the Viper ultimate. For the price it simply presents better with features etc. Docking station also is a bonus. I just can't work out why the Gpro x is so expensive
If you raise the DPI and lower your sense for all your other mice settings then you will have more dots per inch for the same amount of space you use. In a nutshell you will get hyper accuracy for better or worse.
Honestly, the biggest selling point for me about this mouse was the battery life. I can literally hardcore game on this for weeks without having to charge it. It makes the whole charging pad completely useless. I tried switching to razer and went back to this because razer has trash battery life.
Same 20m omrons they put in that old G9, also the Razer death adder!? Which I both own,the Razer side buttons snapped,as the travel was too far to activate the side switches! And squeaky over time.🐭
Thank you for this. This is my next mouse. I have a Glorious Model O, and wanted a none wire mouse. And finally after all these year there is a mouse good one.
super high dpi is used a lot with mouse and keyboard adapters on consoles, since having max ingame sensitivity on a game made for controller is still VERRRYY slow when you try to use a mouse. so you have to adjust the sensitivity by maxing out dpi.
o wow I didn't even realize the attachable pads were in the box. It make the mouse feel like the deathadder how it has good grip to your hands (though falls off)
I've had mine since July last year, banged it a few times and the battery came loose inside, I fixed it adding a little double sided sticky tape and today I just completely replaced the battery for one with almost double the capacity, Battery life of the original was getting pretty bad getting the red light pop up pretty much every day, just waiting for some new feet for it now since I didn't do the best job reseating them, but it still works for now. I have really liked this mouse worth the £120 imo. They deffo need to add a usb c though hopefully if they do a revision of this model
I know the Micro USB is outdated and I would've preferred USB-C too but as far as I know they used micro USB as the port is lighter (sorry for my bad English, I'm from Germany)
Dpi that high to the average consumer, shows you that the sensor has a good resolution, meaning there are many sampling instances per second making the sensor very fast and responsive. Also automotive designers and other CAD users, need higher dpi. I use CATIA with 14000 dpi.
honestly, i just want your mechanical keyboard with those Kanji keycaps. Where can I get all of that? And the missing side buttons if I was left handed would definitely be a no sale point for me, though it may be any way because for my g pro wireless mouse I use all 4 side buttons, 2 for normal and opposite 2 for volume keys which is very helpful when they're on your mouse and you can adjust vol on the fly in games.
One reason I use 20k+ dpi is when I am playing Roadhog on Overwatch. I use my normal 800 DPI, and as soon as I hook someone, I toggle the dpi to max so I can spin people in circles at light speed.

Luckily picked one up, quality really went up nice video arki!
Same dude. Really glad I did looking at the stock situation now! Thankyou bro honestly means the world
I used the razer basilisk ultimate for 1.5 years and liked it (not the stupid charging dock tho) but it stated having some issues.
Overall impressive mouse.
digital art you need the mouse pointer to be exact and a higher dpi helps with that, yes it is faster but you can change in settings.
Makes a lot of sense!
like everyone else said, you are so underrated holy you deserve a lot more subs believe me
Great Video! What deskpad is that tho? It goes crazy
If you use the g pro keyboard the cable doesn’t matter just charge your mouse over night using the keyboard cable
this guy needs more subs
Means the world thanks bro
love the video bro. Great Content.
Thankyou bud! Appreciate the support
I picked up the Viper ultimate. For the price it simply presents better with features etc. Docking station also is a bonus. I just can't work out why the Gpro x is so expensive
Its better
If you raise the DPI and lower your sense for all your other mice settings then you will have more dots per inch for the same amount of space you use. In a nutshell you will get hyper accuracy for better or worse.
Your setup is what mine aspires to be one day
You'll get there man. its definitely a process
Your video was great. I would be grateful if you could tell me what your hoodie name is.
Honestly, the biggest selling point for me about this mouse was the battery life. I can literally hardcore game on this for weeks without having to charge it. It makes the whole charging pad completely useless. I tried switching to razer and went back to this because razer has trash battery life.
Bought mine 2 months ago. Superb mouse. Just go for it!
You will never need a 20 meter table to use your mouse over to control a screen in an arena with billions of pixels to cover.
5:08 they changed from omron 50m to omron 20m
Same 20m omrons they put in that old G9, also the Razer death adder!? Which I both own,the Razer side buttons snapped,as the travel was too far to activate the side switches! And squeaky over time.🐭
@ruben howe same switch different implementation you could put a kailh 8.0 in a deathadder but the the clicks would still be ass
Could you do a review on your keyboard, it looks really cool 😎
I love your vids and tiktoks keep up the amazing work
Thanks man! Appreciate it 😀
I don't usually spend a lot of money on a mouse but if I did...
Plus I like your filmography and the start with the keyboard switches
mmm I saw it as more of an investment. Intend on keeping it for a long while! Thanks bro appreciate it
Duuude i like your mouspad! Please share more information about it. What's the name and where to get?
o wow I didn't even realize the attachable pads were in the box. It make the mouse feel like the deathadder how it has good grip to your hands (though falls off)
clean video mate
What is that mouse pad fam? Looks clean
if you like a slower sens i suggest lowering your sensitivity in game and highering your dpi because a higher dpi lowers the latency
Another use case of high DPI is reduced input latency
Dpi that high to the average consumer, shows you that the sensor has a good resolution, meaning there are many sampling instances per second making the sensor very fast and responsive. Also automotive designers and other CAD users, need higher dpi. I use CATIA with 14000 dpi.
For the model o wireless, tho there are still Quality Control issues still that haven't been ironed out as many are saying online
honestly, i just want your mechanical keyboard with those Kanji keycaps.
For the pfte puck twist it until it fully snaps this is because one side has perfect magnetic force so it connects
yo whats your keyboard its pretty nice
