I bought a Model O last year. The left click broke after a few months of normal usage. I received a replacement under warranty and had ordered another for my girlfriend. My girlfriends mouse right click has no resistance since we got it. Touching it basically means pressing it. After a few months her wire broke as well. It might sound like we are destructive users, but we have never had problems with previous mice (MX518, G5, FK1 and FK2). My next one probably won't be a Glorious unless they improve their quality.
I mean they usually replace their units and often it‘s just not having luck. The Model O Wireless seems to have improved quality too but I understand your concerns. I had Finalmice and they were absolute shit and I couldn‘t even get replacements. So there are worse options out there.
I have a original Model O got it launch day still no problems after all this time and the thing gets used a lot 4-6 hour gaming sessions every day. But i got my GF the Model O- and the cord broke after about 8 months but glorious sent us a new cord free of charge and haven't had any other issues since. Which is a hell of a lot better service then I got from Final Mouse when my Capetown right click broke and they blamed me and said no warranty for you buy a new one.
My problem is not with the service, but more about the quality. At the time I bought it, I had to import from NA to Europe. Doing returns is a pain. Nowadays they sell it locally, but I still don't like the hassle. I'm not ordering from China, so I'm expecting some decent quality. I feel like at the time of ordering, there was too much demand and they choose to not do a proper QC.

I would love to see a comparison of a top end mouse from a decade ago to the ones of today. How much of an improvement has there been in terms of sensor drift, tracking, etc... I know this would be basically impossible for you to test but it's something I would genuinely want to see. My own experience tells me the only difference is that "good" mice have gotten cheaper but the best stuff is about the same. Only differences are of course the pretty neat wireless technologies and manufacturing optimizations. Razer mice always felt finicky, dare I say an acquired taste, and the lightweight obsession the industry seem to make zero difference. Even going from ~90g to 50g made zero difference in performance metrics at the end of the day. I will say it definitely made me try way more flick shots because it was so easy to throw around so it's not like there is no difference. However, it actually made me worse at first similar to what you seem to have touched on a bit with the different shape throwing off your muscle memory. Maybe my play style is the bottleneck here. Increasing the frame time by 2ms made a bigger difference. I can safely say the most important thing is the shape/feel in hand and most importantly being good at the game. Invest in a better monitor and audio instead if you have the cash, preferably an oled if you can afford it. Also honeycomb housings need to die. Absolutely hate them.
Nice review but as a user of high end 100+ € for years I would appreciate a look over the software: over the years I learned to ditch units not only due the shape and design but also sometyimes because while the hardware was good the software and drivers were atrocious.
I had the viper ultimate for a day and returned it . The right side of the mouse didn't feel good in my hand probably due to it being the same on both sides ( ambi) . The right mouse hand only model O felt really good in my hand and my hand is slightly bigger than average. Also buttons felt way better too
I tried out the model O, but hated the shape, and now the model D is my daily and I absolutely love it. as soon as there’s a wireless model D I’ll be buying one.
ive had my model o since launch and i loved the shape, but the real deal breaker is the holes on the surface, i have pretty sensitive skin so they feel awful. I ended up going with the rvu when i wanted a wireless mouse and the step up in quality compared to the model o is very noticeable, and while it is slightly heavier it didn't affect my aim at all and i didnt mind the extra grams. as a fingertip gripper it feels very nice to use.
Even if you're not a fan of the honeycomb, buy and put on the glorious grip tape which only weighs 4g with all the pieces on together and and looks amazing..
until the inevitable dust and dirt accumulate on the surface and edges of the grips lol. and yes i wash my hands EVERY time i use my mouse and regularly clean my desk
Don't you guys also hate when your dandruff falls on your mouse and always grab into it. No more! With the Glorious model O wireless with hexagon holes to catch even the biggest flakes
I am holding out for the Model D wireless... I love the D (yes, and yes). Got a white keeb and a white glorious desk mat - a white Model D Wireless is all I'm missing :)
Gotta say, I have the model D and am not happy with it. It creeks as much as my grandmother did while moving. Switching to a Viper Ultimate at the end of the month
Largely feel the same. Really awesome tech in this mouse but the shape just doesn't do it for me like the XM1 does. Hopefully Endgame Gear makes a wireless model soon as well at about 70 grams or less.
Nice view 2:59 and I only use wired mouse. For me a wireless keyboard or mouse is great when you need to control something where you cannot have wire or several people use the keyboard or mouse and you have to move it. And when you don't have to use it too often, so battery life is great. But for work or gaming, wired is my choice.
How would you compare this shape/size wise with Steelseries Sensei RAW. I've been searching for a new mouse for quite some time and it looks like this is gonna be it...
Dude same! I have the raw, but I honestly found this mouse to be uncomfortable in comparison mainly because of the lack of a hump on the back. Ur defs forced to do a finger tip grip. Keep in mind I got the minus. But I'm gonna return it for the regular model o hopefully that helps. If not maybe I'll have to get a sensei 10

Any updates on your main build Ari? Was it bios, thermals or something else that cause the issues? Did it help moving it to the M1?
when everyone is talking about how the mouse is bad for palm grip, while I can palm grip the mouse with my ant hands lmao.
Also buttons felt way better too
The fire pad is just a fnatic dash and the dash is a huge mousepad
I tried out the model O, but hated the shape, and now the model D is my daily and I absolutely love it. as soon as there’s a wireless model D I’ll be buying one.
i'm definetely gonna have to get this, the model o already is great for me even after a year
Good wireless mouse for drag click and butterfly click
ive had my model o since launch and i loved the shape, but the real deal breaker is the holes on the surface, i have pretty sensitive skin so they feel awful. I ended up going with the rvu when i wanted a wireless mouse and the step up in quality compared to the model o is very noticeable, and while it is slightly heavier it didn't affect my aim at all and i didnt mind the extra grams. as a fingertip gripper it feels very nice to use.
please just say viper ultimate, not rvu, it confuses me too much
The O- wireless one pls
I really want to get model o
But that honey comb thing won't last long in our dusty environment 😔
I really can't wait for the model D wireless!
Yeah...
@@uwaa4467 just buy the cleaning kit that's only like $10 lool
Don't you guys also hate when your dandruff falls on your mouse and always grab into it. No more! With the Glorious model O wireless with hexagon holes to catch even the biggest flakes
I haven't seen any negative review on this mouse. Beating gpw superlight for sure.
Model O- wireless would be a must for me.
I am holding out for the Model D wireless... I love the D (yes, and yes). Got a white keeb and a white glorious desk mat - a white Model D Wireless is all I'm missing :)
I tried buying one... but it got shipped to the wrong address. It’s sad because Glorious and there bad support team still have not responded to me.
D- wireless and im sold.
YES!
Check out pwnage ultra custom
@@dillston4016 thanks for the recommendation, might actually try it. Only problem that it's kinda hard to get it where I live
cant wait for the Model D wireless
I ended up buying G502 Hero, Lightspeed was too expensive for me unfortunately.. I couldn't find this one anywhere to test the shape and ergonomy, I so played it safe.. Tbh I'm actually satisfied with it :)
Imagine the glorious model o wireless had no holes and a shape like the g pro wireless
Although, I have a Model O- and not the wireless. But Ive been along time Razer mouse user since its first release on the deathadder.. and used it til 2018 took alot out of me to leave razer mouses. but im glad I did. Glorious Mouse really changed up my game.. FOR THE GOOD, BEST MOUSE! GET IT!
At least i know how Logitech G Pro looks now. Thanks!
I'm from Russia. Year ago i bought Zowie by BenQ EC2-B from 4Frag for only 5 490 rubles (72$ now) and recently i got Logitech G Pro Wireless by winning in activity contest but not unwrapped box due to some reasons. Zowie EC2-B (new) costs 92$.
1. Someone put box of Zowie EC2-B in recycle bin. It has "feet" in it.
2. I don't know at what price should i sell it.
i currently own a gpro wireless and i got a model o wireless on the way. I know it seems like a downgrade but i was hoping not. We'll see.
bought it like two weeks ago when few to none reviews were out. Now theres so many of them saying its a great mouse which makes me even more hyped about it
