This was pretty good. If there is one thing that Lucifer is the best at is trickery. And Beyonder was too overconfident and trusting which lead to his downfall.

@@a-force9255It's funny how you still manage to show reality warping and cosmic destruction better than Strange-Fate and Man-Surfer. Two episodes of DeathBattle which have lots of opportunities to show reality fucks and total destruction with a budget still manage to feel not that impactful as a small indie show that most people don't know.
I love how much of an absolute mindfuck the animation wasz It does a way better job at showing just how incomprehensible these people are then anything possible
The kill was genuine hype as hell and Lucifer just flipping off an incomprehensible being beyond comprehension is so funny.

I knew who was going to win but the fight turned out better than I thought. As for the next episode, I felt Bender has a good shot at winning. Although Roger with many personas of his could manipulate Bender doing what he wants. At the same time, Bender would have the superior default stats. He also possibly much older due to a lot of time traveling. Not only that Bender's nastiness could work to his advantage against Roger too.
Actually, marvel's beyonder should be really fighting dc's anti moniter. Both are responsible for marvel's secret wars and dc's crisis on infinite earths. Which both storylines deal with their own multiverse, both beyonder and anti moniter serves as the main antagonists in their storyline.
I think the episode was good, but I have some issues with it, one of em being the shakey cam and how much it takes away from the focus of the episode, the voice actor could have been better and some lines felt a little bit too try hard at times, there are some good lines tho and I do still like the dynamic so it's not all bad imo
I certainly respect the criticism, will try to get better with the next episodes😉

I swear the amount of times Marvel passes Beyonder's powers among characters is starting to rival how many times Galactus losing to insert popular character of that time.
(Also despite what some people say, this MU isn't just because "They're powerful" I mean kinda but also another connection that nobody has mentioned was that,
-They are both parts of a duo/Trinity(Cosmic Cube and the three archangels).
-However they would then get into a disagreement with the others(Beyonder arguing,then fighting Molecule Man over the existence of the universe{I think} and Lucifer questioning and arguing over why God could command his children) and they would also get into quarrels with their creators.
-This event would later be the reason why they were got in trouble.
-Because they were powerful,they found life boring and couldn't find a meaning.
-They also made the people below them suffer in different ways(Beyonder making all the heroes fight eachother and Lucifer tormenting the demons in hell).
-At multiple times in their stories,they would become humans.
-They also had multiple people trying to get their powers and would actually succeed.

Marvel has created a being that was poorly written. Marvel Secret Wars was great, but like the movies, the sequel Marvel Secret Wars II sucked. Lets lay the basics The Presence and one above all cannot defeat each other because they are both Omnipotence. but Marvel introduced another character that is equal to both of them and that is "One Below All". However, when Marvel introduced the Beyonder, he was given a label of his plane of existent is above the plane of "one above all". This means that "one above all or the Presence and one Below all cannot go to the Beyonders Universe and erase it because the Beyonders plane is on a higher level...but the beyonder can go down a level and erase the existence of the "one above all's" Universe with ease and likewise for the beyonder going up another level and erase that level above him if there is another level above him. Marvel noted that "the beyonders" powers is a Million times greater than the sum of "one above all's infinite Universes. So there is no possible way for Lucifer or any ranking #2 to defeat the Beyonder because even if they have the power to recreate an infinite universe, Beyonders powers is still a Million times greater than its Sum. Marvel Secret War II just didn't do the Beyonder any justice because when marvel realized that they created a god greater than Stan Lee "One Above all", they immediately nerfed him. but then turned around and created another god "One below all" thats going to sit in limbo and collect dust. My guess "one below all is "Jack "king" Kirby". One above all, the presence, and one below all was never given a power meter like the beyonder, but to me the sum of their infinite creation is a millions times less than the power of the beyonder. take that with a grain of salt. In Secret Wars 2 Owen, Molecule Man shot the Beyonder with a metered FULL blast, a blast strong enough to wipe out billions of universes and didnt phase him and Molecule man is "OP". his blast was strong enough to kill 3 "OP" beyonders that killed the Marvels abstract like Living Tribunal
Agreed. It's such a frustrating conversation to talk about. A lot of people really don't understand how powerful the Beyonder is. It doesn't help that he has been written progressively weaker in each appearance. The Beyonder was the original version of The One Above All. The original appearance of the beyonder, usually called "pre retcon beyonder" is likely one of the most powerful characters in fiction period. However, due to his countless retcons and the introduction of the One Above All, new age comic readers don't really grasp the concept of who the Beyonder was supposed to be and what he represented back in the 80's when he was created. If the beyonder had never had another appearance after Secret Wars II and TOAA was never created, people would not be saying Lucifer beats him. However, his reputation is permanently ruined now because of what the writers have turned him into.
@@booperhero8982 I totally agree with you. Finally someone read and understand who marvel created, and frankly, I totally loved his creation because he was such a badass character. The only thing I didn't like about the story of secret wars, was the fact that they made him naive. Beyonder by default is everything the One Above All X1 million. Which means he has omnipotence, omnipresence, and omniscience. And with that, as soon as he entered One Above All's universe he would have automatically known about everything, past, future, what is and what would be. He didnt have to be a child and learn anything, but it was kinda nice innocent touch to the story that later made worst in the sequel Secret Wars II when he has to change as an infant for Doctor Doom to manipulate Molecule Man to kill the Beyonder, which there was no way that should have happened. But it was part of the nerfing. By the way when Doom stole part of the Beyonder's power that would have made him more powerful than One above all...just saying. Dazzler also became second most powerful for a short while when he gave some his power so that they can be together but she refused his offer and took his power back. which means = there was no way for Lucifer to beat Doom or Dazzler at that time. I would have love to see Dazzler relevant again. Secret Wars was an awesome story, that and the Mutant Massacre Story is my all time greatest
