I really love Pinhead vs Tallman and I hope it happens one day in Death Battle, but this is the best we got as of now,but it kicks major ass.

As a huge Hellraiser/Phantasm fan, this was honestly a treat. I love how your analysis shows in the actual fight itself; with Pinhead's only real counter being the use of cold, and nothing else he could do would even phase the Tall Man. Absolutely class. Wish we saw Tall Man's army fight the Cenobites, but either way, this was fantastic

Hey, as the Phantasm/Hellraiser fan, can you help me with two things? 1.how many references are in the fight itself? Two, are the Tall Man and Pinhead sprites original ones made for the fight? If not, then where do they come from?

Because The Tall Man needs more recognition and love. Many have never seen Phantasm.

And the first - tons of references, such as the Tall Man's weakness to the cold, Pinhead's speech about suffering, and the Tall Man's speech about "playing a good game, but now you die", as well as the Tall Man's amputated limbs turning into creatures.... the video is great for references. They also use the theme to Phantasm II when the gold ball bursts from the Tall Man's head. Most of the references are in the dialogue

I love how the ending of this fight mirrors the end of Phantasm IV:
A huge explosion, the other combatant is weakened but is relieved and thinks they have won, but the Tall Man appears again and easily rips something from their head. Very well done

This is honestly one of my favorite episodes yet. The chaotic analyses, fun fight and convincing conclusion. And that next time is gonna be a doozy. Honestly, 9/10 episode, excited for whats to come.
I knew of this match up for the longest time, but this episode made me a real fan of it! This along with Freddy vs Pennywise are my new favorite horror match ups. And I was right in thinking Tall Man would win this. When he can just keeping coming back after death, it didn’t seem like Pinhead could really keep him down for long.
Great work on this early Halloween Special, yall! I love how MM is clearly Death Battle inspired but with its own flair and identity!
The editing in this episode is better than any other indie versus show I’ve seen. By the time I’m done with the episode, I’m sure this’ll become one of my new favourites versus episodes in general
Edit: I was correct, this was amazing! The editing, voice acting, analysis, everything was spectacular and that next time…. Well, I’m ready for it!

Yeah… this result was obvious. It’s physically impossible for him to kill all the Tall Men. You’d need erasure like abilities to wipe him out on a grand scale.
That's why there are few characters that actually can put him down for good... he has an avatar in every universe. The only weapon that springs to mind is the Reality Bomb
Personally it would've made way more sense to put The Tall Man against Vecna from Stranger Things. Parts of them used to be human. Both led an supernatural army to conqueror our world. They also came from another plain of existence. More similar abilities as well. Also an nemesis whose an telepath. One strange connection is The Tall Man's actor was the narrator in Wishmaster. Robert Englund played an character in both Wishmaster and Stranger Things.
Damn, these guys are crazy. Can't think of many other horror villains that have giant killbots on hand. Fun fight, glad I could watch it.

Phantasm (at least in my opinion) is very consistently good until it falls off on the last one. Each one has something different going for it and they are so much fun. Lots of twists too

So getting into this series i was a bit put off seing that the last video was 10 months ago. I went through the entire series and its great. And now seeing that the next match is SpongeBob vs Ronald Mcdonald it makes sense. You guys are probably still debating who's toon force is more broken

Tall Man has some good quotes but I don`t think they compare to the Cenobites. Best Tall Man has is "BOY!"

From how much fun the horror episodes of the past like Freddy vs. Pennywise and Herbert vs. Light is, coupled with how passionate Max is for the genre overall, figured this’ll turn out bombastic right when it was announced! 👏 Much respect for the glow-up of your analysis such as use of footage from other media for describing novel feats, sound effects, etc.
As for the fight itself, thought so that it would double down furthermore from its sneak peak with greatness! Whether in regards to the chilling voice-acting or trippy action, glad that it proved capable to deliver in those aspects and everything else! Believable verdict which I had a gut feeling was gonna take place as well!
Moving on as far as the next time is concerned, possibly SpongeBob FTW, me thinks. Of course, even without what the memes’ll have some believe, I recall Ronald being able to put up quite a fight in the long run, presumably enough! Either way, uncontrollably excited as one can be! So much that my soul nearly escaped my body! 😮💨

These two were just simple gamers enjoying old classic games until one day Video Games started invading their homes, the once nice heroes behind the screens were now out to destroy the human world but when all hope seemed lost these two used their quarters and took a round of this hero business and became 1st place! 100 percenting their adventures and now these two battle to get the high score but who will get it? The Leader of the Arcaders or the Gamer of Legend?
One of the best episodes of the show so far, the editing and writing of the dynamic between Max and Ducko is on the level of a Death Battle.
and the battle is not that far from that, the animation was very funny and creative using all the possibilities, the dialogue was very well written and reflects their personalities and characters very well.
Overall I love this episode and I thank you guys for everything.

Good fight. I just want to point out that Pinhead never caught bullets with his mouth. He was confined to the Pilars of Souls and couldn't move. JP shot him, and he spat out the bullets afterwards, he never caught them.

I think you should consider doing Kermit vs Frogger. It's the battle of the 2 most iconic frogs in fiction plus one that I think k would be very fun to imagine
