He's too young atm, he shows alot of potential but he's still got a lot to learn. Morgan morris (our first choice 8) isn't even in the squad, Morgan Morse isn't likely to jump in front of him any time soon. Give it time, Morse will get his opportunities.
@@d.jparer5184 With all due respect... that's a rubbish comment, if your good enough, age isn't a factor. He's better than 90% of the forwards in the Welsh squad, he gets over the gain line every time, he's as quick as most of the backs, and he's got an amazing offload/passing game, and he's gutsy as hell. he must have give Gatland the middle finger or something? Gatland's left out some fantastic in form players in my opinion... Morgan Morris too, and a lot from over the bridge. If Wales lose every game in the 6 nations hopefully Gatland will go. A shame as he's on his way to ruining his fantastic legacy with Wales.
@@jasonjones4491 age may not be a factor but experience definitely is whether you like it or not. There a reason why Morgan Morse is our second choice 8 and barely plays for us atm. We're developing him much like Dan Edwards last year. His discipline and decision making is not yet where it needs to be to play for wales. Mark Jones specifically mentioned after the game that morse looked good in those areas but just because he's improved his game from last year in the URC/CP doesn't mean he's ready for international rugby. I'm a big fan of Dan Edwards and im thrilled that he got his call up but if they had called him up last year I would have said it was too soon. Despite being good last year he was making too many attacking errors to justify a Wales call up. This year he has definitely fixed that aspect of his game so it's now the right time. Better to give Morgan Morse another year or two to develop rather than give him a cap too early and ruin his confidence. We may as well call up our first choice 8 Morgan morris in the meantime.
Well done ospreys, despite pau playing well we deserved to win today. The referee was awful, he clearly cannot ref the scrum. Ospreys didn't win a single scrum yet I saw two that we clearly should have won. Also our second try should have been a penalty try for an offside tackle on Kieran hardy, we wasted most of their yellow card on trying to score when it should have been a pen try and a yellow at the same time.
With all the rule changes going on you'd think they'd do something about scrum-halfs feeding the scrum. It makes a mockery of scrummaging. May as well have uncontested scrums. The feeds are so blatant but neither touch-line assistant or referee seem to notice or care! This is seemingly accepted both at club and international level.
OK pedant, world rugby issued a directive to referees some years ago stating they should allow crooked feeds. Why do you think nobody has been penalised for one since around 2021? The referees didn't spontaneously decide to ignore the rule enmasse, they were directed to by the governing body.
If that is the case they may also issue a directive for allowing non straight line-outs. A crooked feed is a distinct advantage. No wonder so few scrums go against the head. What's the hookers role in the scrum if it's not to 'hook' the ball. The feeds are so crooked the hooker doesn't even need to lift his foot! No wonder they're contemplating doing away with scrums. May as well start watching league.
Morse is going to be world class, dan eds aswell
Morgan Morse looked like he was awesome today! Well done the O's 😁
How morse isn’t in the Welsh squad is mind blowing

Unbelievable, clueless coaching staff and management.

@@jasonjones4491 I agree pal
Morgan morse is really something. I can see him going on the Japan tour
The No. 8 for the Blue team is very good, he must come play for South Afrika🇿🇦🏆❤
Except he's Welsh 😂
That is a compliment from Saffa 👍🏾
Wow. Great result. Well done Ospreys.
Great result. How did they miss the conversion for the Morgan try though?
Hit the post
Dan Edwards' kicking has been so on form, it's about time he missed one tbh.
That kick at 80 almost didn’t go off the pitch!! 😂
Come on ospreys

Pau cost me my Accumulator. 1/100 with 7 mins to go😂
Can believe it😢
Don't ever bet against the Ospreys 😉 😂

They changed the laws to allow it several years ago
@@davidjones272 No they didn't. The law is exactly the same as it has always been
