Not a bad story but also makes no sense in places. Like the ship is stealth and Dren said we can go into deep space they can't reach them there, instead they hide in a near by nebular and for some reason not only did the ships systems and the nebular itself fail to keep it hidden for long lets be generous and say no more than 30 mins. Great ship great plan..... *rolls eyes* And of course there is a way to destroy whatever tech it is, if something is so dangerous that it needs to be hidden and never used then maybe it should just not exists, maybe the parents should have destroyed it long ago.
