Esta serie es lo más espectacular que he visto en tv. Es una obra de arte para mí, no por su contenido de violencia, de sangre o de sexo, sino porque es lo que más se asemeja a la realidad de cómo fue la vida en el antiguo Imperio Romano. A pesar de que he leído que hay algunos cambios en esta serie con respecto a la lucha real de Spartacus, lo principal es cómo la mente brillante de Steven S. DeKnight la pudo retratar en la pantalla, de cómo se vivía, la esclavitud, los poderosos, los pobres, todo retratado casi al pie de la letra de la historia. Yo vi cada episodio como una emocionante película, el libreto escrito y la trama de la producción me hizo llorar literalmente de emoción varias veces. Lamentablemente Andy Whitfield falleció de cáncer al terminar la primera temporada, si no, habría sido la serie perfecta en mi opinión, sin dejar de elogiar a Liam McIntyre en el protagónico. La seguiré viendo completa una y mil veces sin cansarme!
