Walmart Fail! - Santa Rosa State Park Drive Through

- Travel along as I drive through the campgrounds at Santa Rosa State Park in New Mexico. It's then on to daily errands and chores, where a normal activity turns into a nightmare.
I am a single female traveler, wandering the USA in my 2014 Phoenix Cruiser with my beautiful mixed breed dog Jazzy. Living life on the road for 365 days a year, I find joy in the company of wonderful friends and the breathtaking sights our country offers.
Whether it's the tranquility of a quiet sunrise or the camaraderie of nomadic friendships, each moment is a cherished chapter.
I usually choose the road less traveled, often dry camping without services. My electrical needs are met by solar power, harnessing the sun's energy to charge my house batteries.

I have a wagon I can use; thanks for the heads up! The Walmart in Jacksonville FL also locked up cart wheels. This, I guess, is fine IF there is enough parking for an RV. Great views at the lake at Santa Rosa. The campgrounds seemed nice too.
Hopefully I will think to look for locking wheels if I have to park that far away again.

😣 you must of been at the Wal Mart on Eubank and I-40 big homeless problem in that area. That would have pissed me off too, they should post a sign or something( heads up) safe travels.
I think that was the one. Yes, a great big sign on the carts would be helpful.
Heard flooding in NM - be safe :) am sure U are ....:) do they have collapsible carts? I jniw know they have such as dollies. Hugs :)
There was flooding in the area I was in. Luckily I was safe. The park had to shut off their water though because the water treatment plant had to shut down.
I don't have room for a collapsible cart. A big sign on the shopping cart saying they lock up would have been nice.

Ain't nobody got room for that in a 160 SQ foot home on wheels. LOL
Hopefully I will look for locking cart wheels in the future.

One would think that in a large shopping area like that , they could at least take into consideration that people might need to use a cart as you needed to and set the lock up range accordingly. I bet you were done for! Rediculas!
Hopefully I will learn to look at carts to see if they have locking wheels in the future. My back was out for 4 days after.
