I so wish you’d picked up the primer bec it’s exactly what you needed to keep the dewey look! If you’re able to, grab the Yummy Skin primer bec it’s amazing. I use it under so many different foundations and it’s so lightweight and hydrating. I also set my blurring balm with some of the Saie powder when it got a little too dewey as the day wore on bec I live in a very humid and hot climate. Play around with it with any primer you have that’s similar. I’ve used the Victoria Beckham bronzy primer and the Innbeauty Face Glaze. Both were great. I am so intrigued and excited every time I wear this blurring balm bec it’s so innovative and fresh compared to all the other things on the market. The Upsalite that she uses in it is a really cool ingredient that I’ve never used before. I also got the translucent one and it’s great for touch ups. You just have to give it 15-20 min to see it’s final form and resist the urge to powder it or use setting spray. Hope this helps! I ordered them right at launch with a bday gift card and was literally stalking my package until it arrived 🤣
Oh gosh! I should have got it! 🙃 will definitely get it when it comes to London. I love a good primer. Yes you’re so right! I need to resist the temptation to powder, as it really does set. I do agree, it’s such a fun product to have and experiment with and I definitely need to try it with some of my glowier primers and illuminators. Thanks for the tips! ☺️💕
@@Slappldn I think it also will behave differently on everyone depending on their skin type and what the climate is like where they live. It’s definitely hard to let it do it’s thing and not fuss too much with it with powder or other products. It’s fun for those of us that like playing with such versatile, new products and formulas. I’ve used a beauty blender to apply and then a dry foundation brush to blend it out but I do not use the sponge damp because it’s not a water based product.
I love this product! I use the yummy skin priming serum under and it gives the perfect radiance under the balm. The spatula is more for like pro MUAs who use this on clients and want to keep it sanitary 🤷🏽♀️ personally I like to just dip my brush in because you really need so little to get a flawless look!
TFS. Looks amazing on you, personally I think you could have pulled off 8 as a based as well with just some light bronIng, like with the Sair or a heavy application of the Chanel one. The upsilate is to take away oils so that powdery dry finish that happens eventually makes sense, oily girls would love this esp since the the past few months alll the launches have been all about luminous bases. I have drier skin so when I do use it I def use a good amount of hydrating primers and moisturizers beforehand, else I look like dry sand at the end of the day lol.
Thanks so much! Yes true. Definitely with the Saie, so rich! Totall agree! I think it’s a little too matte for me at the moment, but as it gets hotter can definitely see myself reaching for it more. Haha same! ☺️💕
So happy that you reviewed this. I also would have loved to have seen shade 7 on you funnily enough. I think that both 8 and 9 suited you. I think that it depends on undertone from what I have seen
Thank you so much. I think 9 is spot on, but glad I tried 8 (would have always wondered lol!) 7 will definitely be one to swatch once it comes to the UK! ☺️💕
Was interested in this but after watching reviews all seem to say the same…that it sets to a matt finish…quite interested in the yummy skin liquid foundation x
Thanks for the video! I am refusing to buy this until it comes to the UK, can I ask if you paid custom fees? Or was the wait ridiculously long? Also, I had a pang of joy seeing your almost finished Chanel bronzer... project pans are my thing. x
Thank you! Haha I feel your pain lol, not sure why it’s taking so long 🙃. I don’t think the duty was crazy for Beautylish. I think shipping is free over $35 and customs was about $15. Delivery took about a week, which was really impressive. Haha I am obsessed. Don’t know what I’d do without it! Oh really! Maybe I will do a video on things I’ve hit pan on then ☺️💕
Are you oily or dry for skin type? I am oily but this looks so nice and if it sets it might be worth it, it’s the summer now so I can’t wear anything that doesn’t set down. And I only have 1 foundation the Lisa Eldridge that I love (I’m not a foundation person) so it has to be something really nice to get a 2nd one since I usually just stick with concealer.
I’m combination. I do find this very matte on me (perhaps ever so slightly too matte) but think this will be great as the weather gets warmer - and really great on oily skin. It definitely does set down! The Lisa foundation is really nice. I’m not sure if this is exactly the same calibre but it is nice, very easy and quick to apply and think it would be great for oily skin. Definitely worth a try, but maybe one for when you have finished your Lisa? ☺️💕

Great advice .. I haven’t tried the balm but love DM products. Xx

Oh really! It seems I am missing out not having this primer, sounds amazing. Ah yes, that is such a good point and totally makes sense! Thank you! ☺️💕
#9 is definitely your shade. It's looks good on you! I'm surprised it looked so shiny. Other people I've seen review it it dried down matte.
Thank you so much! Yes totally agree. Haha yes it took a while to dry down on me but once it did, definitely stayed matte! ☺️💕
Could it be humid weather that postpones the drying down.
You always give the best reviews!!! Thank you☺️
Thank you so much! ☺️💕
I really like the way you compare next to other products we all may have to give an idea. Very cool 👌🏾👍🏾
Thank you so much! ☺️💕

Can you give us some of your foundation shades for reference?? Thanks for the review!
Yes sure! I’m 420 Fenty, NC50 MAC and Macao Nars. Thank you! ☺️💕

@@Slappldn I love shade 9 on you!
Thank you so much for this video I was set on #8 but now I can tell #9 is more definitely my complexion
Thank you so much! So glad it was helpful ☺️💕
It still looks good in 9 hours. Beautiful!!
Thank you! ☺️💕
I brought the balm recently and I'm addicted to it. The balm looks
good by itself and under the foundation.
☺️💕

Yes, that is next on my list! Really looking forward to trying it! ☺️💕
This is a great comparison. I’m thinking of trying the 8.5 or 9.
Thank you! Hope you love it! ☺️💕
You have beautiful eyes! Thank you so much for this review! We are shade match twins!
Thank you so much! So glad it was helpful! ☺️💕

What Mac foundation colour are you?
NC50 ☺️💕
i like 9 on you...looks good
Thank you so much! ☺️💕
I love this product, the only thing is your face looks so oily but then it dry and matte.
8 isn’t bright just not the right undertone.
Yes just a bit off, 9 was much better ☺️💕
