That is Eelam Thamizh Nation NOT so called Northern Srilanka cos the original name of the island is Eelam not Srilanka which was named after 1972.
You can say Northern Eelam.
That is NedumTheevu Not so called Delft which was named by the European invaders.

You can easily find out, even through searching the internet and reliable online sources. Before 1972, Sri Lanka was officially named Ceylon. Before the British period, it was known as Serendib, Taprobana, and so on
