give them a hand - did they complain about America (not Iran) when you made it in the 70s and 80s? - it's because I hated the Beatles and would not listen to them
this rendition takes away from the message the song is supposed to portray. it shouldn't have this much accompaniment and be glamorized. it's supposed to be raw and personal. it's supposed to take a toll on you reminding you of the horrific things prejudice and racism have been causing since the beginning of time.
No if he believe in the cause ;) We are all humans, so no african-american, caucasian, asian and so on... We are the luckiest species on earth so we have to respect each other and consider us all unite
Gracias !!!
This version, full of dissonances and coloured by the fantastic, haunting and lacerating voice only Sting is capable of, is really heartbreaking
After all this years this song still haunts me....beautiful
thank you very much for uploading that master piece !
"Strange fruit", live at Umbria Jazz 1987, Stadio Renato Curi.
Io c ero grande spettacolo
What a sax so? Branford was amazed!
Tremenda canción.Tiene más de 200 versiones.Significativa letra.
Hi. The song is by Abel Meeropol, first performed by his wife.
Later performed by his wife and Laura Duncan
a magnificent concert!!!!!
Still my favorite version of this haunting /song
Great

Man can that boy sing.
Alors là Sting tu m'as troué!
This singer named Sting , is one hell of a singer, much better cover than the original, his voice fits it like a glove.

BINGO!!!!!!!!! 💯💯💯💯💯💯
It's raw, no glamour to be found. What on earth are you talking about?
It’s raw emotion to the max
No if he believe in the cause ;) We are all humans, so no african-american, caucasian, asian and so on... We are the luckiest species on earth so we have to respect each other and consider us all unite
Ahi te he visto fino.
Yes because he is smiling while performing it, it's bizarre
As odd as it is to see white men performing this song, somehow it's still right.
