After attempting to sit through this mess (I actually made it to the 42 minute mark) I am convinced that every one of the comments are from friends/family of the director/cast/producers, and anyone else affiliated in any way. My bad for going to the comments first, when I should have checked IMDB, which btw, gave it a very generous... 3/10!

I know this is exactly what I've been thinking ever since she grabbed the chest from the shelf. And I was irritated by her not taking it off after she was asked too, instead she continued to snoop in the chest. UGHHHHH lol especially when she knew, clearly the women was really upset and disturbed by her wearing it.
I know it really doesn't matter but I'm going to say it anyway lol... If I were in that situation I would've brought it to the owner, w\out opening it and asked if there was somewhere else we could put it.

HONEST REVIEW: this movie was made around early 2000s you can tell but this was a really good movie. The plots was good. It’s all came together at the end. It’s felt like two stories combine. I mean there was some parts that didn’t need to be in there but i know it was just for suspicions. I give this a 8.5/10. ❤️

We witnessed this every year in Singapore with the Hungry Ghosts. Massive effigies were in place, even outside our apartment at the entrance gate. Fake Money was a big item to burn as an offering to appease the ghosts.

"Beautiful" isn't the word I was thinking of.
Hey horror fans. After watching way too much garbage, I enjoyed this film very much. The story was good and well presented, the Chinese mythology felt authentic. I do think that the "A year later" ending was a bit redundant, but today's movies rarely provide closure, as one would make the possible sequal harder to come up with. On a scale of 1-5 I'd rank it a 4.

That was a great movie. I was captivated the entire time.

Accuracy concering the Chinese- Night of rhe Ghost. AKA, Month/Festival of Spirits.
Top Shelf Movie.
Spoiler Alert-
With the housekeeper screwing up so often, she inadvertently was able to help the spirits. For had she not screwed up, the spirits would have left her alone, and that would have altered the logical outcome.
Housekeeper should have tried to help male neighbor when the psycho attacked him.
Great ending to a great movie anyway.

This girl could ask so much questions
This was an interesting movie... It felt more like a Chinese Culture lesson than a horror movie. This wasn’t a bad movie just the sound effects, music, camera angles with the fade to black every few scenes, and acting felt like a “made for TV movie” that I would have watched in the early 2000’s not in the 2020’s. It just felt “dated” but still enjoyed it.
Could've been better. I give 6 1/2.
This is the most frightening movie I ever watched and I loved it. The song is as intense as it is. Awesome.
