Hey trainmaster04, I have a question.Where did you get your lionel legacy sp 4449 from cause Im also trying to get the broadway limited or lionel legacy american freedom train version of sp 4449.I hope you can see my comment

Hello friend! To answer your question, that model was purchased new when it came out. I have a feeling Lionel will be coming out with some American Freedom Train products later this year. Also, it may be best to either keep looking at the second hand market or by calling up some hobby shops to see if they have an old one laying around.

Does your f19 have an issue with Altas switches? Mine seems to have short if I go over the switch slow.

Interesting, no, I have not had any problems with this one. Do your switches have a little plastic piece that goes in between the center rail that looks like a Y? I have found some Lionel engines have a tendency to drop their pick up rollers into that slot and short out.
