I've always loved the Ayleids and the Dwarves. How they're so much more advanced compared to every other race at that time. Mysteries that each race have solved that some would consider "impossible". They truly are amazing and I would love to see more of them included and maybe have a larger part in the games to come. Only to hope when the next elder scrolls comes out 40 years from now
If the next Elder Scrolls is to be set in high rock I doubt there is much to do with the Ayleids, Dwarves on the other hand I think there will be a load of dungeons

Really enjoyed this quest, it was well put together but what really surprised me was how accurate and good the deadlands looked. Even got the fleshy pods, roots that slap you, and The Punished “containers.”

@@beansandproblems As far as I know, the creation club items aren't created by Bethesda themselves, they are essentially DLC items created by mod authors, who then are published officially on the Bethesda store. So nothing is being taken away from the development of ES6. I suspect a new Elder Scrolls project will be coming as well, in the modding community it seems that Madgod has been selected for Bethesda's Verified Creator program

There is a trailer up for "Beyond Skyrim: Cyrodiil." It looks like there'll be a lot of Ayleid stuff in it. But if you want to do some of the "Beyond Skyrim," be it in Bruma or Cyrodiil, I'd say, "Go for it."
Facts, Aylieds are an underrated race, I feel they're a lot cooler than people give credit for. Literally built the foundations of the Empire's we've seen rise and fall.
Same, I even tried loading a previous save and making my sneak legendary to remove the light foot perk ( you won’t trigger pressure plates) but that still didn’t work. I know there’s a few different doors to enter the main area and I tried all of them and it’s still saying the same thing “This gate is opened elsewhere”.
@@nickpappaceno3222 I can't even get the quest to activate for my new character. I get the letter but the quest won't activate. And you can't find the body at the shrine or anything until the quest activates. All the other stuff works fine so far but this one mission is just buggy as hell. And god forbid I put any mods on because then the game won't save. This is maddening.

Seeing a lot of people getting stuck at the pressure plate locked gates. Happened to me too but theres a way to skip all of that which i just found purely by accident. Go back to skyrim, head to red scar cavern (north west of the last vigil) and complete that cave system. It skips a few steps of the cause quest and starts the next quest once you get to the end. Hope this helps you guys!
I really enjoyed the quest and think that it was really well done. Now I have to play the new and improved Skyrim all over again, as well as Skyblivion, on top of all the other new games coming out, like my most anticipated game Crimson Desert and then there's Beyond Good and Evil 2. The list is long and time is short. I'll be extra busy gaming in 2022, but that's a good thing.

I have the vampire Serena by my side and I summon up a death drauger war lord. Pretty much takes care of anything I come across. She upgrades and enchants her own weapons too. Your vids are awesome man.
you know what this makes me want for ES6? I want preset choices/paths you can choose. There should always be miscellaneous quests one can do in any preset path. But there should be paths like "Mythic Dawn Priest" whereby you can explore a path that allows you access to Oblivion and you can conqueor holds via the opening of oblivion gates within a holds region. then of course there should also be the "equal opportunist" path that simply allows you to DO everything. But the preset specific paths are the only ones upon completing gets a unique ending of some kind. Like should your Mythic Dawn preset manage to complete all of Dagon's tasks then you will receive a transformation of sorts as you take your place by Dagon to continue to lead his armies. IDK. I just want more to explore and interact with the Daedra Princes and even the Aedra too.
I've not seen anything official but according to the grapevine Bethesda has indeed made them Canon, making up for the lack of an actual elder scrolls fell in skyrim
The level for Scourge's enchantment is because most npcs have level caps. Flame Atronachs have a max level of 5, Frost Atronachs have a max level of 16, Storm Atronachs have a max level of 30, and the highest level daedra that Scourge can banish is a Dremora Markynaz, which is level 36. The Valkynaz are level 46, so you can't use Scourge to cheat the other boss.
It seems the PS4 has alot of issues with this quest, especially when modded. When I get to the Aylid ruin the gates won't go down even though I step on the mechanism and the mechanism stays down and stuck, I can't continue the quest 😅. Wish the creation club material was available on Skyrim VR.
@@ghostlycrusader3580 Yeah I'm playing without mods now and I still got the blue screen crash with error code CE-34878-0. Bethesda/creation club creators have some bugs to fix.
I might have a solution for you. I downloaded a mod called Atherium Pillars or something like that and it allowed me to walk through walls so I used it to get through the gates and the secret door. Try it and let me know if that helps. It worked for me but there's no guarantee it will work for everyone else. Hope that helps.

To anyone having problems with the gates not opening, try wall clippings, just buy lots of baskets and clip yourself to the wall till you reach your objective, you can use the map to guide you!
I haven't been purchasing stuff on the creation club, so getting all this stuff at once for £15.99 is great in my opinion, the more we pay Bethesda for ES content the more we will get 😂

I never really played Oblivion much, only made it to where you sneak into the Mythic Dawn meeting with Baurus and this was 12 years ago. But this honestly made me nostalgic for the time me and the imperial soldiers charged into the Deadlands to seal the Oblivion gate of Kvatch. So I'd say that's a pretty strong win for Bethesda in my book.
@@ulrickguiliman4810 yeah, they changed some things with the new update that will require the library adress for skse plugins, and any dll type mod to be completaly redone from scratch. Most mods are safe, but some of the ones that broke are essencial for many PC players
Anyone else notice how DLC tends to babble on and on? Vanilla game: NPC greets you, you get 2 dialogue options, NPC gives one sentence response. DLC: NPC gives you a long--winded speech, you get a single dialogue option which is just a trigger for the long winded speech to continue, repeat, repeat. Vanilla game: Discover s note or journal that has a page or two that furthers the plot. DLC: Discover a note or journal that contains a lore dump wrapped in a Shakespearean tragedy that goes on for twenty pages.
@@ic3mk479 no. The doors with the holes won't open. When I click on them I just get a message in the top left saying "this is opened elsewhere." And I have already stepped on the pressure plates that are supposed to open them.
For Bruma, i don't know if you did Sedor the ayleid ruin (there is a quest with it but it stops before you get to expore the hiden underground) but it's in my opinion the BEST dungeon of Bruma. (To do the quest, you need to sleep once in the gross "inn" in Bruma and once you exit, a Nord will approche you.
Got the 0kb bug the first day i started playing it. What a fun way to start the game off with this bug that I've experienced in skyrim remastered again. 😀👍
Same I got it yesterday November 21 2021 and I had to delete all my save files because each one of them got affected by that 0kb bug which is the first time that I ever got that bug any idea's on on to fix it on PS4

We all thought the traps in Skyrim sucked because everything was easier but in reality nords just suck at making traps. Evidenced by the traps from the ayleid ruin instantly killing you.
The joy and fun you have playing this is infectious. You have me crying with laughter at your running commentary when fighting. Probs my fave Elder Scrolls player 👍🏼👍🏼
For anyone wondering why there was still an option for him to buy something on creation club, its because its a bundle and the CC store never lists bundles as "bought" when you buy the content individually
When I played this I noticed a really fun peace of irony, I had recently gotten mehrunes' razor and used it to kill most of the mythic dawn before realizing the connection
The Ayleid architecture is my favorite design in all the elder scrolls games. Always wanted to see it in Skyrim. Now I want to see more of it in Skyrim. If Skyblivion looks anything near as good as this, I'd be more than happy to download it. Think it'll ever be on Xbox 1???
TO EVERYONE WHO CAN‘T GET THROUGH THE DOORS: You can use the glitch with the Plates to get through every door. Even the stone door which won’t open even if u place the shards. Ps: u gotta glitch out with plates as well. I used about 10 plates ( a few extra ones just to be safe) only works with whirl wind sprint shout tho!!!

Scourge is actually one of Malacath's artifacts. It was in Battlespire and in Morrowind.
According to lore dremora can’t hold it, if they do they get devoured by a portal thing and die

I never really played Oblivion much, only made it to where you sneak into the Mythic Dawn meeting with Baurus and this was 12 years ago. But this honestly made me nostalgic for the time me and the imperial soldiers charged into the Deadlands to seal the Oblivion gate of Kvatch. So I'd say that's a pretty strong win for Bethesda in my book.
I had no idea that this quest was gonna take me to Oblivion. :)

@@ulrickguiliman4810 yeah, they changed some things with the new update that will require the library adress for skse plugins, and any dll type mod to be completaly redone from scratch. Most mods are safe, but some of the ones that broke are essencial for many PC players
Anyone else notice how DLC tends to babble on and on? Vanilla game: NPC greets you, you get 2 dialogue options, NPC gives one sentence response. DLC: NPC gives you a long--winded speech, you get a single dialogue option which is just a trigger for the long winded speech to continue, repeat, repeat. Vanilla game: Discover s note or journal that has a page or two that furthers the plot. DLC: Discover a note or journal that contains a lore dump wrapped in a Shakespearean tragedy that goes on for twenty pages.
I would love to see the Beyond Bruma Livestream. It looked awesome and brought me back to my first good Elder Scrolls encounter.
Rofl they did not even add the mythic dawn "full body armour" conjuration spell which was the basis of their skillset.
I heard the mythic dawn moved on from using it after they kept getting killed using that... skillset.

@@ic3mk479 no. The doors with the holes won't open. When I click on them I just get a message in the top left saying "this is opened elsewhere." And I have already stepped on the pressure plates that are supposed to open them.

For Bruma, i don't know if you did Sedor the ayleid ruin (there is a quest with it but it stops before you get to expore the hiden underground) but it's in my opinion the BEST dungeon of Bruma. (To do the quest, you need to sleep once in the gross "inn" in Bruma and once you exit, a Nord will approche you.

Got the 0kb bug the first day i started playing it. What a fun way to start the game off with this bug that I've experienced in skyrim remastered again. 😀👍

Same I got it yesterday November 21 2021 and I had to delete all my save files because each one of them got affected by that 0kb bug which is the first time that I ever got that bug any idea's on on to fix it on PS4

We all thought the traps in Skyrim sucked because everything was easier but in reality nords just suck at making traps. Evidenced by the traps from the ayleid ruin instantly killing you.

When I played this I noticed a really fun peace of irony, I had recently gotten mehrunes' razor and used it to kill most of the mythic dawn before realizing the connection

The Ayleid architecture is my favorite design in all the elder scrolls games. Always wanted to see it in Skyrim. Now I want to see more of it in Skyrim. If Skyblivion looks anything near as good as this, I'd be more than happy to download it. Think it'll ever be on Xbox 1???

TO EVERYONE WHO CAN‘T GET THROUGH THE DOORS:
You can use the glitch with the Plates to get through every door. Even the stone door which won’t open even if u place the shards.
Ps: u gotta glitch out with plates as well.
I used about 10 plates ( a few extra ones just to be safe) only works with whirl wind sprint shout tho!!!

The TWO things missing from The Cause is Alyid Weapons and Armor. That was a huge letdown for me, fun DLC though.
