I cant help but to blame Yui. Deep inside me, i believe she's the true reason behind the deaths of Nuriko, Chiriko, Miskake, and Hotahori. She deserves to suffer and not a sudden death.
Nakago manipulated and betrayed a fifteen year old girl who thought she was raped and abandoned. Way to victim blame. The only thing Yui is directly responsible for was brainwashing Tamahome. Nakago directed the majority of the Seiryu 7, not her. Even Suboshi caused more harm to the Suzaku 7 than Yui did. She was a pawn from the beginning. Miaka had guardians who cared about her. Nakago made Yui entirely dependant on him in order to have her grant his wishes.

Yui is his case study. :) But, oh, I think Nakago is the most handsome FUSHIGI YUUGI character of all, much more handsome than even Hotohori. He's cold perfection.

True. Yui tends to see things in black and white, though I would say that she's more afraid than confused. Though she refused to admit it, the whole time she was in the book, she was afraid of losing Miaka to Tamahome. Nakago took advantage of her vulnerability and used her fear to his advantage, lying to her like he did the other characters. His plan almost worked too, which is why he's such a despicable villain. :p

No problem. Just to warn you though, the 1st of the 3 OVAs there are, is there STRICTLY for torture. And then the 2nd episode in the 2nd OVA has all the feels for Hotohori, Houki, and their son Boshin. You'll DEFIANTLY want tissues while you're watching the OVAs.

True. Yui tends to see things in black and white, though I would say that she's more afraid than confused. Though she refused to admit it, the whole time she was in the book, she was afraid of losing Miaka to Tamahome. Nakago took advantage of her vulnerability and used her fear to his advantage, lying to her like he did the other characters. His plan almost worked too, which is why he's such a despicable villain. :p

As much as I feel pity towards Yui, I can't help but also think that she deserves to feel scared in order for her to be able to learn of the consequences of the actions she'd done. The girl's gotta learn the hard way the same as Miaka did with her own naivety.

No problem. Just to warn you though, the 1st of the 3 OVAs there are, is there STRICTLY for torture. And then the 2nd episode in the 2nd OVA has all the feels for Hotohori, Houki, and their son Boshin. You'll DEFIANTLY want tissues while you're watching the OVAs.
