Very interesting exercises, and how much variety with four chips, especially when they also have to divide the numbers in their minds!!! It's right that the goalkeeper should also turn on his head))

You should do a video talking about your favorite gloves for games, training, etc.
I only wear one brand of gloves for training and matches! They're called Hedera, and the link is in the video description. If you fancy a pair, use the discount code GOLDENHERO for 10% off!

Does ever goal keeper have to do this when you try to qualify into teams? Or is it diffrent.
What club do you aspire to play for? And also any tips on how to dive properly on a weaker side
My club is Manchester United, so that would be the dream. For your weak side, you just need to constantly dive on that side and practice, that's the only way to make it stronger
Hey Conor so I've recently been struggling with diving to my left (Weak side). I've been good at it in the past, but I haven't played any real games in a while. I go to the field and practice about once or twice a week and I am doing many camps and other goalkeeper training activities this summer and was wondering if you had any tips to develop my weak side when I'm training?
Hi Ansley, I'd say just focus on practising a lot on your weak side, that's how it'll improve. See if you can get in lots of reps during your training/camps, and hopefully that'll help to improve it quicker!
I always enjoy watching your training. What club are you with now?
I'm playing in Sweden at the moment!! Club called Pitea IF
Who shot the keeper great video connor had a hour training today felt good
Hey Connor, I have a question for you, can I do the goalkeeper stretching routine at home, with no warm up before? Or will i hurt my body?
Great vid as always keep it up 👏😁
Of course you can, I use that stretching routine as my warm up! Ease yourself into it, don't stretch to a ridiculous point straight away, but if you go to the point of tension and hold it there, then that's what works best. Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
Love your videos
Thank you my friend, really glad that you're enjoying them!
A what to be like you
Espectacular
Gracias!
How to stitching Goalkeepers gloves
Super 🙌🙌⚽️⚽️
Thank you!!
I am goalkeeper for the wots up warriors football team allso I do lot training on Wednesday night at goals
very good
Thank you!
Hi Conor, just a quick question. The box work you are doing would you class that as a positional warm up or a technical drill? I am on a goalkeeping course at the moment and really like this set up but not sure what it would fall under
Probably more positional warm up than technical, just as it's not quite game specific, but a really helpful drill!
@@ConorOKeefe thanks for answering Conor
Hey Conor,
Just a quick question with the risk of already having been answered previously:
How tall are you?
Asking as a 180cm goalie..
Hi Victor, I'm 1.82m!
Where are this guys 1 million subscribers?
Hahah maybe one day!
Great
Thank you!
I like it
Hey Connor I was just wondering how you got recognized to play at a high level at such an early age to be where you are now
Hi Joey, I always played for local clubs when I was younger, and joined in on trial days for my local professional club (Macclesfield Town) when they happened. I got into the club that way, when I was 12, and worked my way up from there really.
Any approaches made by clubs yet? And I have a question what club would you like to start off in?
Hi Jack, a few conversations but nothing sorted yet. I'm happy to go anywhere that helps me to improve.
Conor O'Keefe alright bro keep going you can do it
@@ConorOKeefe Are one of those clubs Exeter? I know they're hopeful of signing 3 keepers....
We'll see!!
Thank you my friend!
I have a question - Why do you let them wear gloves and use their hands to get up? I train my keepers in my hometown and I am just curious because I always love learning about new techniques and sessions (hence why I subscribed haha). I tell them if they can catch a ball cleanly without gloves then with gloves will help and if you can quickly get up without using your hands then you're always ready for the shot.
Also, I noticed when they got tired they started to really use their hands on their knees or on the ground to get up. I get it is a fitness drill which is an outstanding drill which I will use tonight with my boys, but I feel like their legs could be doing more to get up. Kick, twist, step is my philosophy lol
Hi Justin, I'm the keeper in this video, not the coach, so I can only speak from the players perspective, but I hope it can help.
Regarding no gloves, it's an interesting thought, and maybe something you can introduce into the occasional session every so often, but I believe the majority of work/training should be done with gloves. The catching technique is slightly different with gloves than without, and as a keeper, I believe it is very important to train how you play, meaning the keepers should be training with gloves much more than without.
Also, with the standing up movement, every keeper will do it slightly differently, as you can see in this video. There is no one perfect way. A lot of pros will use their hands to get up, and some won't. The key is to get up as quickly as possible to allow time to set for the next shot. If that means using the hands, then that's ok, but the focus should be on how quickly and effectively the keepers can get up, rather than only allowing one technique.
On the last drill why do you use your bottom hand? I would think that the top hand is easier and maybe better.
It's a common argument amongst goalkeepers, whether to use top or bottom hand. First of all, in my opinion, as long as it stays out the goal then it's the correct choice! But the way i look at it, top hand helps with height and bottom hand helps with length. If i feel that I need to be at full reach to make the save because the ball is far away from me laterally, I'll go with my bottom hand, as i know i can still get the height if needed due to athleticism/flexibility. But if it's closer to me in the goal, but still high, I'll go with my top hand, because that's closer to the ball, and quicker to the point of contact, and I don't have to worry about stretching for lateral distance, only height.
I hope that makes sense, I might make a video about it soon, but in general, as long as it keeps the ball out of the goal it is the right decision!
@@ConorOKeefe Sounds good! Thanks.
You are good
Thank you!
❤❤❤❤
How tall are you?? Just wondering from a 17 year old thats 5 foot 7 and I kind of want to play in goal. 😂🔥
You should go for it, although 5'7 is considered short for playing in goal but defy the odds and go for it. Coming from a guy that's 20 and is 5'4 playing in goal anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
hes like 5 11 maybe almost 6 foot.. if he tells u anything taller hes lying ;)
@@mikeymikebuscus9767 Yeah true. I know this kid that got dropped by Crystal Palace for being too small I felt bad for him 😂
Hi Joe, I'm 1.82m. Height shouldnt stop you playing in goal, there have been loads of smaller keepers who were extremely successful. Work on your goalkeeping techniques so you stand out that way! But play and enjoy it, regardless of your height, that's the most important thing.
Тhe new Yashin is there :)
Legend of the game!
@@ConorOKeefe O, Yeah!!! But I meant the boy who trains with a hat :)
What camera & tripod do you use?
The camera gear I use is in the video description of my most recent videos!
Does your club pay for your gloves or help you in other way for buying the gear or is that all you?
No, I've always bought my own gloves!
Thanks Conor
Which gloves do you have
I wear Hedera gloves, which have been great for me. The link to their website is in the video description, and if you fancy a pair, use the discount code GOLDENHERO for 10% off!
