The feeling that Hope gives me in this scene or in others im TO is so different from that in the legacies. There she had a family, know she's alone in school with noone at her side.
He forgave her. He found out later that she tried everything she could to save Davina because she didn't want to hurt Kol. That combined with the fact that unlike his other siblings who would discard him like trash if he got mad at them for "killing" the woman he loves, Freya instead understood he was upset and treated him with compassion. He knows she didn't do it maliciously. He knows she tried to find another way. He knows she loves him. All of that he's never had from his family before. And Davina is alive. She and Kol are married.
I love freya and everything, but I really wished that Rebekah was the one getting married because she literally wanted this more than anyone and everyone, and her two brothers walking her down I feel like it would have been more special....still happy for freya though

can we just keep appreciating how sweet is Hope using magic to make flowers fly just when Keelin and Freya kissed? 🥺🥺 also The Originals Hope is so different than Legacies Hope but I guess it’s because here she was 15 and at least had her family while now she’s all alone
A lot of scenes broke me throughout the duration of this final season but none like this. The emotional torment Elijah had to suffer into addition to Hayley’s death makes this too much to bear. The irony even in an lost memory state that Elijah would still connect with Hayley in one day coupled with the emotional pipe of this letter, I’ll never understand why their love story had to be so tragic.
Every time I see this scene I imagine how heartbreaking it must be for Rebecca that two off her brothers will not be there to walk her down the aisle 😭😭😭😭
When I was watching this episode a year ago I felt like crying in this scene because Hayley is my number one favourite character in the originals slash the vampire diaries I also almost cry when she died because she didn’t deserve to die at all it felt like my heart ripping out of my chest but she’s in peice witch is good

It's really amazing how Klaus puts the whole wedding together knowing Elijah will do the most important part and when he doesn't he steps up for that too all at the time when he's going through something dark. Klaus has really evolved as a character.

This season sucks. It isn't a good ending for the past 4 and it isn't even a good setup for the new show. I expected some introduction to the classmates and teachers at Magic School. If the point is Caroline and Klaus as end game that sucks. I mean, they have had very limited interaction. That relationship certainly won't impress someone who isn't already a shipper (from TVD). Kol and Rebekah have been virtually non-existent this season. Elijah sucks (He is boring as Hell) and any potential interest piqued with his new lady has been ruined. Klaus' daughter sucks. I couldn't careless what happens to her. It's a slap in the face to Halijah and Marcel/Rebekah fans. Davina/Marcel fans never got any decent interaction between these two since her death. Josh's death served zero purpose. It was completely unnecessary. Freya/Keelin are cute but that's a fairly new relationship compared to the others. Vincent, had no real purpose this season. All of sudden Davina has the answers? Well, what has she and Kol been doing for 7 years. Julie Plec Sucks!
This is so sad when Elijah remembers the time he had with Hayley in France when he didn’t have his memory! He thought he was protecting her by leaving her but he was wrong. If only Elijah saved her even when he forgot who she was then like he probably wanted in this scene, it should have been his and hers wedding!😭😕I think what makes it worse is when he with his memory back, remembers the times he had with her when he didn’t know who she was and she was right in front of him!

I feel like this is where he knew he could never forgive himself, or really be happy ever again, but in some ways had found the redemption that he longed for himself and for his brother since they became vampires ... So I think he decided to go out with Klaus reading Hayley's letter.

I feel like this is where he knew he could never forgive himself, or really be happy ever again, but in some ways had found the redemption that he longed for himself and for his brother since they became vampires ... So I think he decided to go out with Klaus reading Hayley's letter.
